Now that the end of the year is aproaching most gamers is probably thinking about what they think is the best games of this year. Just like any other year, in other words. Remember, we are only counting games released in 2012 (on any platform, of course).

Personaly, i think my top five looks something like this:

1. Pokemon White 2
2. Kid Icarus Uprising
3. New Super Mario Bros. U
4. Darksiders II
5 The Last Story/Pandora's Tower (can't decide)

I've probably bought more games this year then i ever have before, although the majority of them was older games so... Anyway, haven't actually played that much out of Mario and Darksiders and i haven't completed Pokemon yet (blame school) but i'm pretty confident to put them there.

1. Xenoblade Chronicles (IN AMERICA!!!)
2. Assassin's Creed 3 (MORE AMERICA!!!)
3. Kid Icarus: Uprising
4. Rhythm Heaven Fever
5. La Mulana

I've played so few games this year it's embarrassing. I mean I at least got a few from last year or the year before and some VC stuff. Literally the only other games I bought, or even played I think, that were actually released this year are the MGS3 remake, Liberation Maiden and Sonic 4 ep. 2.

Luckily the 5 games I listed are all awesome and the first 2 will almost certainly never change.

This year had a pretty good amount of good games to it. The top 4 may easily change, because these games were some pretty amazing games!

1. Tales of the Abyss (3DS)

Pokemon Black 2 by far.
Followed by AC3 and Gravity Rush.

Kid Icarus: Uprising is the best game I've played this year by far.
The Last Story was pretty good, and I'm about to start playing Virtue's Last Reward which I expect to be rather excellent also.
Then there's a few of the downloadable titles like Denpa Men and Little Inferno, and probably numerous titles that I'm forgetting.
Oh, like Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and Resident Evil: Revelations which were both great.
There's also several titles that I'm still meaning to play.

On Wii? Xenoblade by far..
Don't really have one for 3DS. I mean Kid Icarus Uprising was decent, just not anything special imo.
