My first DS screen killer game was Wario Ware Touched. Lots of fun.

Though technically, Metroid Prime Hunters First Hunt was our first game.
And the first DS game we bought was Ridge Racers DS, which was my brothers. I couldn't care any less about it.

And of course, i still have all three, boxes and all.

Super Mario 64 DS.

The minigames were pretty awesome.

Super Mario 64 DS or Mario Kart DS. Both are very good games, and I still play the Mario Kart DS today.

Super Mario 64 DS. I didn't get my second game (Yoshi Touch and Go) until I beat SM64. Oh man Touch and Go sucked.

People seem to either love or hate Touch 'n Go, I myself haven't played it, yet it is was one of the DS games on my 'to get list'
But the $40-ish price tag isn't helping my decision either! :p

Don't. It's pretty fun while it lasts but it's essentially a tech demo sold as a full game. If it WAS a full game it could have been amazing...

Ooh, I agree NSMB is one of my favourite DS games. :D One of my early ones too. Did anyone ever try the multiplayer? It was a hoot.

If you really want to try it, rent it through GameFly. That's what I did, and while I was initially charmed by it the game grew old after awhile.

As for the main topic, New Super Mario Bros. was my first DS game. While it may not be the hardest 2D Mario, the game was a lot of fun. I LOVED stomping through levels with Mario as a giant. It makes the game easier, sure, but it also makes it fun at the same time. The little touch-screen games provided a nice break from the main game, and sometimes I would turn on my DS just to play those.

Agreed; it was easily my favorite part of the game. The only bit I'd go back to after NSMB Wii and Galaxy 2.

Pokémon Pearl was my first DS game and the primary reason I got a DS.

Unfortunately mine was Metroid Prime Hunters which I absolutely despised and later gave away. There have been plent of other good DS games though that have blown my mind.

Retro Atari Classics, Pokemon Dash, and Super Mario 64 DS. Sadly, none of them were that great.
