That the consoloe will be too expensive, and that devs like Wayforward that make awesome downloadable exclusives will move to the iPhone (especially if the consoles' too expensive to get sales numbers high enough, quickly enough to make it worth publishing on it), because Nintendo's pricing structure is too rigid, and that Nintendo's downloadable pricing structure will remain too rigid. I don't really want to pay 2-8 times as much to get a game on the 3DS just for buttons.
Those are really the only worries I have right now. I'm certain it will be region locked, so not concerned about that. I'm certain most 3DSWare games will be 2D, not 3D, so I'm not worried about a lack of variety. They've promised that games will play directly from an SD card, so I'm not worried about downloadable file size restrictions or running out of memory.

@Token Girl. Companies like wayforward waited for the better part of a decade for a publisher before finally releasing RR online. I think they're pretty loyal now. But i do see your point.
What I'm really worried about is the game boy ports. When you played a game boy game on a GBA you had a widescreen option which was fine sometimes, but other times it stretched the screen out too much and looked horrible and if you have seen the size of the top screen you know this may be a problem.
My other thing to worry about is the launch titles. I wasn't interested in many of them(I want Mario Kart)

The price is my biggest concern. I might stick with my DS for awhile because I can't afford a 3DS or 3DS retail games. There are plenty of older DS games that are $10 or less at GameStop. Just wish I had a DSi so I could also take advantage of DSiWare, which manages to kick Android Market's behind without even trying (I love my Droid, but it's only very slowly getting some of the better iPhone games).

I only know one thing to worry about the 3DS: finding one. This thing will be sold out before I can get my hands on it. I just know it.

yeah. ill need to hit up the gamestops as soon as possible after released. i found the wii by sheer luck, there was only one left before holiday buying season. im hoping luck can land me a 3DS too
