Topic: IGN's Top 10 Nintendo 3DS Games

IGN released their top 10 3DS list.

KI: U is too low. MK7, SM3DL, and SSFIV3D are too high. The lack of Tales of the Abyss, DOAD, and MGS3D is dissapointing, IMO.

10. New Super Mario Bros. 2
9. Kid Icarus: Uprising
8. Theatrythm: FInal Fantasy
7. Kingdom Hearts 3D
6. Street Fighter IV
5. Resident Evil: Revelations
4. Star Fox 64 3D
3. Mario Kart 7
2. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
1. Super Mario 3D Land

Personally, I can't take this list seriously with Star Fox so high on it, while other games like Dead or Alive: Dimensions, Rythem Thief, and Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars aren't even on the list. Heck, Pushmo is something I feel to be more deserving a spot then a shoddy port of an old game that isn't Ocarina of Time.
It's their opinion though.

Why would they make this list?

IGN has always sucked when it came to lists...I mean yeah 3D Land is awesome, but come on...Uprising is ten times way better.
Same can be said for Kingdom Hearts. >.>

leave star fox alone. He rocks. lol A lot of people are fans of Super Mario 3D Land so I can believe that it's number one. I have no problems with that list

I would have... one game on that list on mine.

Their DS and Wii lists were semi-respectable, but this one is a mess.

It's funny...the IGN comments are saying that it's a good list. Nintendo Life users are saying it's a horrible list. I love the internet.

Of the eight on that list that I have played, above would be my ranking of them. They're all great titles.

This list is horribly flawed. There's so many games that shouldn't be on there and so many that are too high.

Even funnier that IGN users usually hate IGN's ranking lists.

List seems pretty good to me!

IMO, it's better than the DS one. SF64 should be lower, KI:U should be higher... but it isn't TOO bad. How badly can you mess it up when the 3DS has such a small library of games (compared to DS and Wii) anyways?

My biggest issue with Star Fox on that list is that it added next to nothing to the original release. As someone who got all the medals on normal mode in the VC release, I found it to be very underwhelming and just not worth $40 in the first place.

Personally, if I were to do a top 10, it'd look like this:

7. Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked
6. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D

1. Kid Icarus: Uprising

I highly doubt most would agree with my list either, so it's not like there's much to talk about here.

9. Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition
8. Mario Kart 7
7. Super Mario 3D Land
6. Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy
5. Kid Icarus: Uprising
4. Dead or Alive Dimensions
3. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
2. Metal Gear Solid 3D: Snake Eater
1. Tales of the Abyss

The top 4 always move around though, lol. (list doesn't include eShop games)

...hell, I wish I HAD 10 3DS games (downloadable games aside)

I think KIU us waaayyy too low, and SF643D is waaaayyy too high. But I won't complain that SM3DL is no. 1, even though I think it should be KIU...

Well guys we gotta remember that no list EVER in the history of the world will be agreed on universally. There are ALWAYS divided opinions with everything, so I think whoever is cross should just calm down and accept it, and understand that everyone has different opinions, and calmly comment and say what you think the list should be, IYO...
