Windy commented on Wii U Sales Continue to Rise with the Release ...:

@hydeks Take it easy I was joking because of Nintendo Doom and gloom. Sorry for the confusion. I thought it might be funny. I happen to think the Xbox systems are excellent. Heck I even think the PlayStation systems are good. Its just all about what you like.

@unrandomsam I think the Retail digital downloads are rediculously overpriced. No manufacturing costs just upload the game and start selling at the same price as In a retail shop. I still think they should be 10 to 15 bucks cheaper. I myself don't download the retail games. I like having a shiny new cartridge. And then there is Steel Empire which is probably an excellent game but came out at 29.99. Sorry but they better lower that price before it becomes forgotten about cause they arent selling very many copies of that. I think 19.99 would sell some but I don't think that will be low enough. Maybe they will just let it sit there and rot. I hope not.

First they need to start flooding out the VC games. I think they could still price them as regular with weekly or monthly sales. Of course lower prices is always appreciated. But releasing VC games at a faster pace would be a good start.

Windy commented on Only 3DS Games Sold Over One Million Copies in...:

Monster Hunter 4 is going to sell a gazillion copies in the US and Europe. I hope online is good for it. Its quite possible that I may only buy Fantasy Life and Monster Hunter as my only 2 retail games in the next 6 months. I'm usually buying stuff up as fast as I can but I've really slowed it down this year.

Windy commented on Nintendo Offers Condolences to Robin Williams'...:

@Kalmaro I totally agree with you that he took a bad way out. There is so much help in regards to Parkinson's these days. I have a lot of health issues myself and would never think of taking that way out. There is too much good life to live and people to meet with places to go. I still would love to see a Cameo of Robin Williams in a Nintendo game. For one it would probably mean a lot to his kids who aren't really kids anymore but I do believe gaming is still their hobby

Windy commented on Nintendo Offers Condolences to Robin Williams'...:

It would be fitting to put Robin Williams into a game. His death hit both me and my wife hard. Not only that we grew up watching Robin Williams. But in a way actually watching him grow up through the years as an actor and a person. Parkinson's is a pretty brutal thing to have as we took care of my father in law who had it and demensia. I wish he could have found a way to manage it and treat us to more smiles. We'll miss ya Robin Williams. Or maybe we'll see you in the future :)

I'm going to wait for a review on amidas. But other than that its been real slow on 3ds for quite a while. Well there are some great titles just a couple months away. I see Nintendo still has no intentions on blowing open the VC games on 3ds. VC guy in charge YOUR FIRED!

I think they should take all the last gen DSi titles and start offering big discounts on them. Supposedly its up to the Devs to offer a sale on games. seriously those old games are going to just sit there and rot. whynot generate some interest and sell them at a reasonable price. I already have Zenonia which I payed 7.99 for its a decent game but its been. 99 cents in the android market for years. whynot do the same and lower the prices on older software? Also look at that new shooter which hit the 3ds eshop 2 weeks ago at 29.99. They havent sold 20 copies of it and will not sell much more unless they lower they lower the price. I dont even think 19.99 will be low enough to start selling a huge amount on that game. its really plain an You would think that if your game isnt selling you would lower the price to start selling it. plain and simple there are a plethora of Eshop games which should get the lower price tag. The Dev of The Letter is a freakin genius for lowering the price of his game

very nice interview once again. Just my Two Cents here... Local wifi really does stink just so you can get the multiplayer option stamped on your game. Do it right online multiplayer please. I love small companies making it and hope the best for you guys.

This has been an issue for a very long time. It started around the time Zenonia came out. Where Zenonia was .99 cents on the Android store, We got the game for 7.99. There are other comparisons as well. Apparently we get better versions of those games which warrants a price difference. Simply put its Greedy!

That is one tough contest there. Would be neat to see the winner get posted with their performance here at Nintendo life. As far as the game goes I haven't been that interested. I have the first one and best I could do was beat it on easy setting. Any other difficulty and the game was just way too difficult for me.

I'm going through Chronicles again. I started playing last night. It such a good game! Very fast paced and just good old fashion fun. I hope this will make it worldwide its too good not too be able to play it. A 3ds version of Hyrule warriors would be awesome too.

On the serious side of this and on Topic. I've started to wonder where quality control is going in regards to the Indie Devs. Most titles are excellent but lately especially in regards to Nicalis who got 2 bug ridden games into the Eshop with 1001 spikes and Grinsia. Is this going to become a normal thing where the games get fixed after release? I would imagine Adelman caught a lot of heat because of these 2 games. By the way I really liked Grinsia especially after the crashing was fixed.

Windy commented on Majora's Mask Fan Project Gets a New Trailer, ...:

Next year at E3 they should seriously have a bunch of Majoras mask paper cutouts made then just pop them on the wall everywhere they go at E3 especially in Nintendo's booth. People would freak out. But you gotta admit there would be some hilarity in it. I could see all these Media sites with pictures saying "What does this mean?" Look at Zelda Williams for instance. Gotta love Nintendo and how they Hold out on certain things.

Windy commented on Review: Steel Empire (3DS eShop):

Let's see in a month when it has less than 30 ratings in the Eshop if they lower that price. I'm betting it has 15 to 20 ratings in a month. Look we can totally start this argument again about No box! No Instructions, No Manufacturing costs. I guess they think gamers are stupid. Now if it was a retail release which it is not we might be talking 29.99. Really insulting! What do you think this is? Mario Golf or something! Yumi's didn't sell at that price and this won't sell at that price. They should lower the price now before the game goes out of sight, out of mind. Seriously another dumb attempt to get retail pricing for digital distribution. This is a nice review which in a way is too bad. Its a good game no doubt. Good review guys.

Windy commented on Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Multiplayer Will Wor...:

@markybbop im hoping for Dragon Quest X. Wii U has Monster Hunter Online already. I think its fitting the 3ds get a proper version. Not that this should not be on Wii-U also cause really it would help with the Wii-U's current situation. The Wii-U has made some big strides the last couple months I think because of MarioKart. But if they are doing quality over quantity or trying to sell gamers on that theory That means just about every game needs to be a blockbuster. So they do need to be doing it better than Microsoft and Sony, not to mention Android and Apple are killing the consoles now which I cannot stand. I am guilty of playing a couple android games but I do prefer my 3ds over anything.

Sorry Teyon. You are out of your ever loving minds! Good luck selling that steel empire at that price. I'm shocked actually. I was thinking at most 14.99 . let's see how many people rate it in the Eshop within the next month. I'm betting less than 30.

Looks like I'm going to have to count my apps and games. I actually have bought way too many I may never get too. If I ever get to this point. I will probably stop buying games until Nintendo allows us to put them on our extra systems.

Windy commented on Disney Magical World Waltzes Its Way Onto Euro...:

Guys I have to say this has been the best game I've played this year! No kidding. Its an open world RPG/Sim. I've had more fun with it than anything else out there by a long shot. I highly recommend it. Don't worry about the DLC prices they are worth it. Especially the Pirates of the Carribean add-on. It has very nicely structured quests and achievements. Its a great game for people of all ages. You hardly spend any time in your cafe running it. Your out battling and doing quests most of the time. Dev's need to take a look at this game and see how open world is done on 3ds. My only complaint would be it needs more areas to play in. I'm a 49 year old man and loved this game! Next best thing to being at Disneyland is playing Disneys Magical World!

Personally I think Nintendo needs to find a way to make the Wii-U a system to have and want for the next 10 years. I think people are getting tired of a 5 or 6 year window between systems and would like to sustain a longer life on what they have. I think it can be done the Wii-U is an excellent system. It just needs a peice of new innovative software that blows away everything else. They do have a lot to overcome though. I watched my son play the Destiny Beta and I have to say.......Holy cow that will be hard to top.

Were doomed! I shudder at the thought of the Apple and Android way of gaming. Sure they are starting to get a little better. But bug ridden and half finished games seem to be a way of life in those markets. @AyeHaley Touch controls have come a long way for sure. But your right there is nothing better than good old fashion control pad like on 3ds

Windy commented on Reaction: Nintendo's Drop in Momentum Is A Big...:

I had an Idea the other night and think it would be a great way too advertise Wii-U. Nintendo should get in Touch with producers of The BigBang Theory TV show. Have them play Wii-U and maybe write some stories around how they started playing Wii-U. I saw an episode where Sheldon went crazy trying to decide between PS4 and XBoxOne it was hilarious BTW. In the end he never did buy either. This would be where Wii-U steps in. Its a great show millions of people watch and the advertising possibilities would be pretty great. Any Nintendo people out there? Run this by Reggie for me! You can take credit. Hee hee

Windy commented on Bravely Second Shows Off New City and Job Outfits:

I just hope the story doesn't get jumbled like the whole second half that bravely 1 was. The first half of that game was the best first half of a RPG I ever played then Bam! It was like they didn't know what to do with the rest of the game. I have a great Idea! Let's make players do it all over and over and over and over! Oh and over again. I will pick this up definitely. I just hope the story sorts itself in a better manner. The second half of bravely default just felt lazy

Windy commented on Orders Open For Xbox One in China as Nintendo ...:

I'm sure Nintendo has a plan in place for China. I bet the way they do it will go through smooth as silk. Anyway we will see soon. Nintendo will be like a cobra jumping out of a basket to bite the competition in the Arses. Wait and see.

I was thinking today this is more North America related though. Nintendo should make a deal with the producers of Big Bang Theory get Wii-U on the set of that show as regular topic for the show and show the world what the Wii-U can do. I seriously have friends who still think the Wii is nintendos current system. I think it would be an awesome idea as the show is still very popular and it could make for some fun topics. They used too have halo night now they can have splatoon night. Or MarioKart 8 night. Doing it this way would blow away typical TV commercials

Windy commented on Feature: Where Are The Super Nintendo 3D Class...:

Nintendo hasn't done any 3d classics in years now. Sega has picked up the reigns and made some really great 3d classics. Where are you Nintendo? I don't think Nintendo intends to release anymore 3d Classics. They have so many that would be so cool. Personally I would like this more than Virtual Console releases.
