Topic: I gave up!!!

When i want to be healthy, i take an iapple....When i want to be cocky and bold, i play at a station, and when i want to have fun and be happy....i play....Nintendo!

I'm not ready to give it up, but I understand why someone would want to. If Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion hadn't come along my 3DS would just be collecting dust. Hopefully Ubisoft doesn't delay HollyWood Crimes, and I can finally pick it up in August.

I think we can all agree that the 3DS has mostly ports and remakes and the Vita isn't even out yet.

why? No huge Nintendo titles at Launch. Which in turn gave the public nothing special to play and also did not display how powerful the little 3DS is. I call that reason enough for there not to be anymore amazing titles at the moment...

Yes, we need to give it some time. If you don't have any time to wait, then you I can imagine why you want to sell it.. I still have faith.

I remember a year ago EVERYONE was excited for the 3DS because of all the games announced, now that its released A TON of people hate it
Look at the SNES, PS2, and DS poor launch, best selling console
Look at the GCN and N64 Great Line up from the begining..... Not as well selling

Just have some patience and the good games will come. Good things always come to those who wait.

Wait, didn't the N64 only have 2 games at launch and then nothing for quite some time? I don't think you could call that great.

If the N64 launch was great, SNES was phenomenal. It also picked up steam very quickly, having numerous must-owns in the first year, so I'm not sure what the relation between a great launch and bad sales is.

I love my Nintendo 3DS and have mainly been a Ninty fanboy, but even a hardcore Ninty fan has to throw in the towel and see for themselves that Nintendo suck with online functionality, applications etc.

Don't get me wrong, Nintendo has amazing consoles, amazing ideas and BRILLIANT games. The only problem is... they have a lot to learn.

Don't forget, this is the 1st generation/iteration of the 3DS... as time goes, there will no doubt be new iterations of the 3DS with more stuff thrown in.

Also, this is its first year, it's only a baby console and slowly we'll get the rest of the bells and whistles.

Buying a console from the get go is stupid anyways, it usually has nothing to start off with making it seem crappier than what it really is.

I could care less about the topic, but what's wrong with the eshop? It may not be as good as the app store, but it's still a step in the the right direction. And while the online is bare bones, it still does it's purpose. I actually find writing down a 12 letter code to be easier than memorizing some complex screen name like tHeyoYOogameer96215.

Sometimes I find myself thinking about to leave the 3DS too, but basically we have really good games so far. Lets have a look to OOT. We all liked it when it was first released. Now we can enjoy the story in 3D with better graphics. Master Quest included also. Better graphics, better sound effects. 3D.

Same matches on Pilotwings Resort. Some reviews are speaking about less content. I cant agree on this. There are so many little details to find in this game - like if you change the colour of your Mii the colour of your flight vehicle changes too...the hunt for the ultimate flight can be highly addicting also. And dont forget: PW is in 3D also the very first time. As a long time fan of PW I just love the PWR game. Well, they could have added wind effects, I agree...But you wont find such games on any other handheld / console....And btw...no review Ive read mentioned the diamond class in PWR btw...(same matches on some Steel Diver details...cough)

So after all I think its good to have a 3DS. We werent able to play our games in 3D before. 3DS makes it possible. There is a new video section on the german eshop since a few days...looks promising also...and since I know netflix has been made available too on american 3DS, its hard not to possess an own 3DS

So all together I predict youll rebuy another 3DS in near future

3DS is phenomenal. I remember when I tried it at the store, the Nintendog looked so amazing in 3D. They had a glaases 3D game on the tv too connected to a ps and the 3d effect there just sucked. The brilliance of the 3ds is not only glasses free but coz it's played closer to the eyes, the effect is so much more effective than in tv's which is pointless and doesnt seem to do much. I have about 20 games in mind to buy, from Dead or Alive to bittrip, pacman galaga, starfox, mario, kart, paper mario, luigi's mansion.... This console is just pure amazing.

R u kidding me ? O_o Theres third party companies invested in the 3ds. Not loads, but there are some great ones
Square Enix- Almost as strong as Nintendo imo. Kingdom hearts 3d, heroes of ruin looks amazing, crush 3d ect.
Konami- Also looks extraordinary. METAL GEAR SOLID 3D!! As well as beyond the labyrinth and others
Level 5, majesco, sega, ubisoft also have quite a few planned
capcom also brought re for 3ds
theres also loads more that i cant think of atm
Yes its not perfect, but plenty of great games for 3ds are on there way; far from woeful

a new Rocket Slime game is enough reason to take Peppy's advice. NEVER GIVE UP, TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS.
