Here's the entire list of "First Person games" on the DS. Of them, about 1/3 cross into the shooter category. That's 1/3 of about 30 games. On a console that had almost 1300 games. Really, I still wouldn't call that tons. :/

Lol, there is more than that! Please stop. metacritic reviews the more popular games, there are more fps games on ds than that. Keep trying now

If you troll and bash a system you claim you don't want then why are you paying attention to it?

well, no console does need fighting games. as long as it has a robust lineup of other offerings, it will have its fans.

Also, if you take another shot at me, it'll be your last. fair warning.

LOL, is THAT how you win debates? Threaten them as a mod? Oh my that is rich! That is your last resort? So instead of trying to speak your mind like a mature person and calmly get your point across you try to threaten them when you get mad. That is hilarious! Do what you like but I know that I am right about every genre has to exist because there is an audience for every genre.

Be it as it may, it's up to devs to have it happen. Surely every genre or brand hasn't been on a console of choice and I'm sure that the 3ds wasn't the first.

Oh and i suggest you check your 'tude, bub

@theblackdragon :$ Aww you're welcome

Okay Mr. Attitude, how about you tell us what that list is missing? Because I can't find them, and I've been looking since you posted this thread.

EDIT: And he's gone. So much for aquiring that mystical information. Oh well. :P

I'm looking forward to Renegade Kid's Cult County, but I also want to see Nintendo jump into the genre using the interface from Metroid Prime Hunters. Following the DS, where the genre has been memorable to me, it's a shame to see no FPS games on the 3DS and it's a void for me personally.

Favorite Game: Metroid Prime Hunters

Okay, not a fan of where your approach is going in discussion, but I do agree with you. The 3DS DOES need more first person shooters. They're going to cause cramps no matter what, but Kid Icarus was especially bad for including the stick smashing mechanics for dodging. I'm sure if there were a Metroid Hunters 2 the problem would be lessened at least slightly. I bought a power grip for my system and I haven't been able to play without it since. The system's just too small for my hands, so I feel like Wreck-It-Ralph while playing. Big help for KI:U though. I had high hopes for Resident Evil, but then learned that Capcom used neither the stylus controls nor gyroscope, which is another fine alternative if touch screen is not your thing. Looking forward to the Conduit, if that's still happening...

Dunno about the Mercs but Revelations does have gyro aiming. Its pretty good too. Yeah KI:U's ground sections were pretty badly designed imo

Circle pad pro, you should look it up :) I love it

Which is redundant considering the lack of 3DS FPSs but generous towards games like Monster Hunter. Which is the only current game I'd use it on. :p

I have good news for you...
You can get a second control stick to attach to the OTHER side of your 3DS.
Unless you have 3DS XL.

True just because everyone else is making FPSs doesn't mean Nintendo has to.

While this thread might be past salvaging, I do feel that you're inferring something the OP didn't intend (more a function of his clumsy argumentative style).

Let me finish. This thread was completed in the above sentence. You can probably name all of the FPS that sold the DS (and heck, the PSP) on one hand.

I loved the first dementium and i agree the Stylus controls were far more enjoyable and intuitive to use this a clunky stick.
If RE: Revelations first person aiming in stereoscopic 3D is any indication, than we are in for an absolute treat....That is, whenever a solid FP-based title ever sees the light of day. Renegade kid has one in the works, but we wont be seeing it until mid 2014.
