This doesn't use upgraded DS visuals, it just copies the Wii games backgrounds. The Wii and DS games had the same world themes, but the backgrounds were completely different.

Forget turning blue shells off, how about a game with BLUE SHELLS AS THE ONLY ITEM! The goal of the race is to get in first, but the first place kart always gets hit and knocked back into 2nd or 3rd. Suddenly, Mario Kart becomes a mental game of wits! Racing becomes irrelevant, the main focus is now to figure out how many item boxes are on the course, when each player will get an item, and how long it takes a blue shell from that player to hit the person in first place. Don't forget the lucky 7, in which a player gets 7 blue shells! ...

Yeah, Nintendo should have given us the option of turning those things off.

The graphics look amazing! Star Fox 64 may not be as good a game as Oot, but this remake looks like its has had more effort put in to it.

Just for some perspective, Japan got no new games this week. And I suggest you all wait for the Dsiware reviews before you consider these games to be awfull.

I'd prefer a 3D version of Digger Dan first.

I was original intending to get this game, but after seeing the yellow box, I have decided otherwise.

The original came out 2 years after Oot, and most of those 2 years were spent on things like the story and the dungons, things that wouldn't change in the remake. Just bring in Oot 3D's updated graphics and controls and you have the world''s easiest remake.

Well, the Wii Shop channel music is catchy, but that isn't enough to make up for all of WiiWare's flaws.

This looks like it will suprass both TP and Oot in almost every way, and when you consider the quality of those games, that is definetly a good thing.

I'd rather have them say this now than in 2 years when we had all but forgot about the game.

So.. In theory... If I own both a 3DS and Wii U in the year 2015.. I will be able to play every awesome Nintendo Game on every Nintendo console ever made (except Earthbound) through VC and Disc/Game Card? I can't really complain about that.

I'm all in for new IP's, but I hope the 3DS gets one Mii-filled game. I spent a lot of time scanning QR codes, and I want to be able to Torturer, er, play as the Miis I have collected. Oh, and some Pikimin 3 info would be nice. I can't wait to see what he comes up with next!

I'd rather have Xevious and Urban Champion now and The Super Marios and Zeldas later than vice-versa.

The review doesn't mention the fact that you can unlock stuff by getting X points, making this more than just a score attack game.

Bring on the Sequels!
