6/10 what?? I get that haters are gonna hate, but this score is pretty ridiculous. GF greatly improved performance/gameplay over past titles, I guess people prefer bad performance to bring on the "GF is bad" rhetoric...
World does not look significantly better than 8, maybe less blurriness and better animations are the only improvements i can see... (8 looked too good for its generation, maybe that's why)
@thegroke777 Yeah I felt the same. I feel like they are breaking some kind of NDA by sharing internal discussions even if they are old, certainly Nintendo/TPC isn’t happy about it.
I work in the game industry and I can tell game companies take leaks very seriously and see them as damage to their business. Marketing teams coordinate various efforts around the reveal date to maximize surprise/profits, and leakers ruin all of that by sharing stuff at a time it's not supposed to.
I don't get why these leakers can't keep their mouth shut and risk their job for this. And what for? Clout chasing? Dopamine for being in the center of the attention? People will forget about the leaker anyway once they (inevitably) get caught..
If they wanted to remake a Luigi's mansion game, they should have gone with the first one. I don't see get the point of remaking the (imho) worst entry in the series with what seems to be just slightly better graphics.
The game was fun, but I eventually stopped playing because doing ranked matches was literally impossible, due to extremely long waiting times. (even after f2p)
I know my opinion goes against the grain, but I played it on the snes mini and honestly got bored after 4 hours or so. I found it very tedious and slow paced and it failed to capture my attention. I wanted to enjoy it, seeing all the high praise, but I guess it just isn't for me. (Plus I don't have any nostalgia factor)
I’m pretty sure most of the traffic for this game was generated by NL coverage. Otherwise, it would be pretty much unknown. It’s pretty fun even if extremely basic.
This shows people what game directors can actually do when they are alone without a big team backing them up, so they think twice before godifying them. (Cough Cough.. Sakurai..)
@FNL My god, finally someone who says this. THANK YOU. I have direct experience in the Japanese game industry as a programmer, and based on my experience the director role is often overrated. Truth is directors are much less involved in the development itself than people believe and I think your description of Sakurai’s work is pretty accurate (Directors typically have the initial game idea and then just roughly supervise what the team does, changing parameters and playing the game builds from time to time offering feedback. Other work is non-dev related: meetings, marketing, etc.). Don’t get me wrong, I respect Sakurai and I think he is an excellent designer but I do think he is getting way too much credit. A lot of decisions are also made by the team and Sakurai alone without other talented individuals can do literally nothing. So his team deserves as much credit really.

Re: Donkey Kong Bananza Director Acknowledges Performance Drops: "We Prioritized Fun And Playability"
They stated dkb started as a switch 1 title. It must have been almost unplayable over there...

Re: Digital Foundry Analyses The Tech In Xenoblade Chronicles X For Switch
Honestly human character models from pokemon games are way better
Re: A Hidden 60fps Mode In Xenoblade Chronicles X Gives Us Hope For A Switch 2 Upgrade
The frame dips are pretty bad on the switch, a patch for switch2 would be welcome.

Re: Random: Latest Fan-Made 'Banjo-Threeie' Trailer Very Nearly Had Us Going
Out of all the fan made banjo trailers I've seen, this is by far the most impressive! Seems legit.

I don’t know, it still looks pretty generic to me
Re: Pikmin 4's Director, Yuji Kando, Has Completed The Game's Story Mode "Around 20 Times"
I guess "play your game 20 times" is the new trend at nintendo
Re: Paper Mario-Like 'Born Of Bread' Bakes Its Way Onto Switch This Summer
Hmm, the environments look good but I don't like the character designs. The combat also feels clunky... pass for me.
Re: The Outbound Ghost Dev Copyright Strikes Its Own Game Over Legal Battle
And controversy apart, it seems the game isn't very good either

Realtime shadows in a N64 game? Hmm...
Re: Poll: Do You Think Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Have Eye Issues?
Spoiler alert: nobody cares (and I think it's intentional, if you look up for images of cat eyes, you can see their pupils are slightly oblique)

Re: Lil Gator Game Is An Adorable Adventure Waddling Onto Switch
Hmm, I’ll pass this one. Looks very unoriginal and not fun at all.
Re: Charming Photographic Adventure TOEM Gets A Switch Release Date
Completed the demo on steam and it was very good. Can recommend, looking forward to the full release
