Re: Nintendo Download: 30th March (Europe)

I much preferred this news first thing Monday morning. It used to help brighten up my day, reading all the moaning comments about how bad Nintendo's eshop is and how green the grass is over on PSN.

I might pick it up sometime if it ever hits the €5 mark in a psn sale.

This game is promising so much i can smell the disappointment.

Do people who back the game get any benefit for doing so? I personally don't know how to even back a game. Or is it lose lose all the way? 😉.

That about sums up the mood this morning.

I have not been proven wrong. I actually did go into GameStop in Navan a few months ago. I was looking for a brand new PS3 console as a spare. Their site clearly showed they had it in stock in Navan. I think it was the only store in Ireland that the site showed had it in stock.

In i went, not a word about it. They had none in stock. Moral of the story; GameStop website is not to be trusted or them either.

Why do you think Argos get the best PS4 deals. I've seen Argos selling; a ps4 console, a copy of Horizon zero dawn and an extra controller for 250euro. Never seen a deal that good in Smyth's.
Because Sony is Argos's best friend because Argos are shifting Sony consoles. I wouldn't think Smyth's sell more games than Argos.

Argos stock is not in public view so I don't know what you're on about.

Oh. If anyone is guilty of NOT playing 3rd party games on their Wii u it's me.

Now that you mention it, my Wii u did lock up a couple of times playing COD black ops 2 on Wii u. One of the very few 3rd party games i have on it. I barely ever play it and it did lock up a couple of times. On one occasion i got computer code on my screen when it locked. I would see that as a software issue, not hardware.

Re: GameStop Executive Believes Switch Sales Could Outpace the Wii

I know Nintendo have a cunning plan with Switch. When Switch gets a nice catalogue of games; this takes time for every console. One of the biggest problems with Wii u was Nintendo couldn't cut the price. That problem will not exist with Switch. Right price some good games, it's going to fly. Fly baby fly.

Most ps3 games don't perform anywhere near this level and there's never a word about it. I think there's a bit of playing up to Nintendo using underpowered hardware.

The only place I've experienced dips is the village and the stables.

I don't know why the game is being picked apart. I'm really enjoying it anyway.

No i just wanted to know if you had the Wii u version, because then you would know yourself what it was like.

I have put in at least 15 hours on Wii u and I'm serious it perfect. There are minor momentary frame rate dips in the village. The Wii u is not struggling. This talk about the graphics not being great is absolute rubbish.

This kind of review is making it look like Wii u is struggling and I'm sorry but that is 100% no true.

I'm not impressed with the way this review is written. It's trying to make out the Wii u is being pushed to its limits with comments like;

"It's clear that the Wii U is labouring to deliver a solid performance"
and
"but we should acknowledge the strain the game puts on the hardware."

The game is fine on Wii u. The way this review is written you'd think the Wii u was limping home with smoke coming out of it.

What i want when i read a review is honesty. I'm not getting that here.
