im now watching the demo. i think this game is running on some high end pc. them graphics and details are top notch. good luck getting that on the wii u to look the same. or on any other system.

this isn't five years ago. nintendo knew that they had to come out with something much better than the wii was at the time. this is something that they are a little nieve about. what sold today won't necessarily sell tomorrow. i love the wii but im not sold on the wii u. the best controller ive ever played with is the wii mote and nunchuck. nintendo for the wii u needed to add more power for devs and still be creative. they got one part right but not the power part. im sure the wii u kicks out some good graphics but some devs wants the power to do anything..
Japan is the place where the ds got a good run going and never looked back. if the wii u can pick up steam in japan and then create a good run over here in north america then the wii u will be in good shape. people are very hard on nintendo but if your hardware is selling no matter where then its a good thing. lets hope the wii u can get that same success here in the u.s.

So people buy Nintendo systems to play Nintendo games. Well that may be half right. But right now they aren't much of those. Nintendo needs a killer app and it needs games.. the 3ds has games and the wii u needs it now. All I see on tv is just dance ads. Where are the mario ads. The ads with other 3rd party games that says buy me. Show me a call of duty ghost add with the wii u gamepad the focus and then have wii u show alongside it at the end. Now that is good marketing. . Sony got it right this time around. Sony has a good marketing push. Good feedback from devs. And they have games.
the consoles are now going head to head. these coming weeks will tell a lot. but this console generation seems different. maybe im defferent with my purchases and thinking.. but the pc is looking very good right now for a gaming device.

But a desktop pc is known for web browsing and office documents more than for playing games. gaming pc's are intimidating i thing. too much talk about power and max graphics the ordinary person knows nothing about. the steam machine is in the right place. micro console market i think not.. nintendo has this habit of doing strange things. like now with the 2ds. the 3ds is selling like hotcakes so why disrupt it and confuse people with a 2ds. but a micro console makes no sense. nintendo just needed to make a powerful console. and better marketing in the early months and they would be in great shape with the wii u now

the wii u name sucks.. nintendo should have went with the revolution for the name but they stuck with the wii for brand recognition. ok so thats settled. no big games in a long time. ok they've had some good games come out but people want big games to justify a purchase. they should have pushed the tablet accesory much harder, get games out on it much sooner. its not until recently that more and more games are coming out just for the tablet. push the eshop more.. integrate it with the 3ds eshop. get more devs on your side, and make sure that they don't make crappy ports for your system, cause no one wins that way. word of mouth is also a big thing too... you just can't talk a big game and have no action. you have to push you system and make sure people knows it. what sold well last gen is not always gonna sell well now, so you gotta keep pushing out something new and fresh. i love nintendo. nintendo has me sold on the 3ds, but the wii u i'm not sold on just yet..
if the wii u doesn't pick up by mid 2014 then ninty should rethink their strategy. maybe they should bring out a new console late 2015 if all looks bleak. the ps vita tv console is not much of a threat. everyone now is bringing out a console, trying different things to see what works best. ninty should never have announced the 2ds which won't get much response in a positive way. nintendo on its next console needs to do more action and less talking.. more games and less gaps in between.

@Warruz i do agree that the gamepad is great for football games. i remember using the dreamcast gamepad and using the onscreen display to hide my play calling from my friend sitting next to me. its always those simple things that makes a game great. and as for publishers wanting to see more units out there then thats the wrong move in my mind. they slept on the first wii. so y make the same mistake now. if you make good games, and you have good advertisement then the units would move. but we shall see how things go in the fall for the different systems..

when playing my wii i played all my games from off an external harddrive. the loading times weren't bad at all and all i access to all my games. im sure a lot of people today own external harddrives and to me it would easier to load games from there. but the wii u has a small hard drive which is not good if you want to install games. but to me this isn't ninty's biggest issue. and for the noob who said that the wii u is meant for nintendo games you must not really be a gamer..

if this game is great on the 3ds like how it is on other home consoles then i say bring it on. i haven't played this game before on home consoles so if it gets good reviews i will give it a try on my 3ds. the more the merrier. i just hope for a great game and not a watered down version

a 2ds. at first when i heard this news i thought that it was an april fools joke. but i see that we are almost in september. this is a dumb move for nintendo. u have a 3ds. y not put more effort into securing its spot on the top. i love using the 3d on my 3ds, it stays on. well this will be a failure in my opinion

when playing my wii i played all my games from off an external harddrive. the loading times weren't bad at all and all i access to all my games. im sure a lot of people today own external harddrives and to me it would easier to load games from there. but the wii u has a small hard drive which is not good if you want to install games. but to me this isn't ninty's biggest issue. and for the noob who said that the wii u is meant for nintendo games you must not really be a gamer..

okay ninty needs to come out guns a blazing. they can't hold back right now. a price drop would be great right now. but the wind waker bundle is a right step. the ps4 and xbox one will be stiff competition but they will be doing fierce battle between each other. i don't see people having a ps4 and xbox one.. so maybe ninty can slip the wii u in there. the wii u can be a game changer.. lets see how it goes

nintendo has a table right there that they should be making small games for. im not saying bring out crap games. but draw consumers in with a game like angry birds - meaning something not too hard, fun and creative. all games don't have to be gigantic and awesome, some people just want simple fun sometimes. so nintendo took too long to get these games out. but i do applaud them for getting their act together now..

well nintendo should have seen this coming. they seen this with the wii. i don't mean the bad sales, but i mean having to do the heavy lifting. they knew that they needed to come out strong with the wii u. the name should have been different from the wii but i guess they was banking on the name to carry over, to be familiar to consumers but it backfired. you can't just talk a good game, you must show it. nintendo had the whole summer to bring out an amazing game or two for the wii u but they decided to wait until the fall and early next year. they spreading their games out to maximize game sales, im guessing thats the plan. maybe a price drop might help, but the damage has been done. the wii u won't fail but it won't be a major seller like the wii was.

if this game is great on the 3ds like how it is on other home consoles then i say bring it on. i haven't played this game before on home consoles so if it gets good reviews i will give it a try on my 3ds. the more the merrier. i just hope for a great game and not a watered down version

@unrandomsam i don't want a 10 out of 10 game everytime. i just want to play some games thats out on other systems. i don't want half assed games being pushed my way. i loved xenoblades, wii sports, bond and other games for the wii.. just put out some games and i will buy. and what i mean about innovate is that the wii u should have been a system with many good games. but i don't know what nintendo was waiting for to release their games. i guess its all business.. cause if the wii u was selling like hot cakes they wouldn't need to be pushing out games each month now.

ummm haven't we heard this story before.. like say a 100 other times these past months since e3.. just advertise the games. stop all the chattering.. get some games out there and then let the system speak for itself. would've could've should've really sucks to hear right now for a nintendo fan. i mean you had the wii, it wasn't a great leap in specs, but it had some good games.. so all that time you should have been pushing the wii u, i mean whos in charge of ur advertising department.. you can't just sit on ur laurels and wait. you got to innovate.
