i agree with hanks all 3 presentations weren't that good. i would have to say that nintendo's was a lil bit better but not by a big stretch. i guess they are no real leaps and bounds out there as yet. i've heard one developer say that with each new console its always the same product put out yr after yr. they isn't no real innovation. i wanted to see something explosive, but i didn't. the biggest applause from the crowd was for pikmin, and when the mushroom came into play in tekken.

hmm i don't know what to say about nintendo's press conference. but here i go, it started off good. but then they gave you a lil video montage of games that will come to the wii u. i saw mass effect 3 and some other games that i would have liked them to give more attention to. they showed some ubisoft games, but nothing we haven't seen before, and they showed us mario. thats all fine but i wanted to see something new, fresh, balls to the wall. but im sure they have more to show in the time wii u lands. also only a couple mins for 3ds, thats no good, they needed to show that off in a big way. luigi mansion looks cool, and so does the other 3ds games shown and im sure we will see more at the 3ds hour tomorrow. but i give the whole presentation a 6/10
ea and nintendo partnering to develop ninty's online strategy is a good thing. ninty needs a good online structure when it comes to the wii u, no more friend codes and simplicity. i don't know about crossing over there ip's but i hope ea stop making crappy sports games for nintendo consoles, the first madden and fifa for wii was excellent, but it all went downhill after that. and so sad that the dreamcast died after 2 years, but those 2k sports games on the dreamcast was far better than anything ea was bringing out at that time. so i think the demise of the dreamcast had much more to do than having ea supporting it...

well e3 is almost here and the rumors and semi comfirmations are coming out steady now. well i can't remember if a castlevania game hit the wii but im glad to see it coming out for wii u. lets see some innovations
castlevania games on the ds was very good. im sure this will be officially announced soon, maybe even at e3. lets hope they make good use of 3d in this game.
i got this game recently and just came on here to check out the review of this game. its kind of harsh to give it a 4. the speed in the game is crazy, the detail is great to me, i don't know what more you can expect from a racing game on the 3ds. you can tinker with the setup anyhow you like. okay maybe the AI in the game isnt that great, but in F1 racers rarely pull over and let another racer by unless they are told to do so. And i watch f1 and trust me they are many incidents on turn 1 the first lap of the race. but i would give this game an 8 for it being its first outing on the 3ds. and people shouldnt judge a game if they haven't played it for themselves..
launching a console with mario would help sales, but i feel this time around the wii u needs more variety. im not saying that anything is wrong with another mario game but most people will be looking for the other heavy hitters like cod, grand theft auto, or even a zelda game. if on day one you see grand theft auto coming to wii u that would create a lot of positive headlines. but ninty is smart and im sure something big will be shown at e3.
@madgear pes is too realistic. well i do agree with you on that and thats a great thing about that game, the learning curve is high and even though you think you have mastered the game every now and then you will get your butt handed to you.
the first fifa game on the wii was great after that the rest of the fifa installments went downhill. pes just keeps getting stronger and stronger on the wii. but i do hope that fifa on the wii u is not some arcade crap like the last game. i still play pes.
xenoblades and pes 2012.. and i might play some mad world also, i still haven't finished that game as yet.. yes i know im slacking, but never too late to enjoy a great game.
xenoblades is great game. shame it had to take so long for it to hit the wii console. this is the type of game that should have shown other devs what the wii was capable of early on. but im enjoying playing it now nonetheless, no dust on my wii yet.. and can't wait to get my hands on kid icarus for the 3ds, seems like a solid title..

i got this game recently and just came on here to check out the review of this game. its kind of harsh to give it a 4. the speed in the game is crazy, the detail is great to me, i don't know what more you can expect from a racing game on the 3ds. you can tinker with the setup anyhow you like. okay maybe the AI in the game isnt that great, but in F1 racers rarely pull over and let another racer by unless they are told to do so. And i watch f1 and trust me they are many incidents on turn 1 the first lap of the race. but i would give this game an 8 for it being its first outing on the 3ds. and people shouldnt judge a game if they haven't played it for themselves..

launching a console with mario would help sales, but i feel this time around the wii u needs more variety. im not saying that anything is wrong with another mario game but most people will be looking for the other heavy hitters like cod, grand theft auto, or even a zelda game. if on day one you see grand theft auto coming to wii u that would create a lot of positive headlines. but ninty is smart and im sure something big will be shown at e3.

f1 2011 for the 3ds. yea that game is fast and fun. little minor issues, but nonetheless still a fun game.

pes is too realistic. well i do agree with you on that and thats a great thing about that game, the learning curve is high and even though you think you have mastered the game every now and then you will get your butt handed to you.

the first fifa game on the wii was great after that the rest of the fifa installments went downhill. pes just keeps getting stronger and stronger on the wii. but i do hope that fifa on the wii u is not some arcade crap like the last game. i still play pes.

xenoblades and pes 2012.. and i might play some mad world also, i still haven't finished that game as yet.. yes i know im slacking, but never too late to enjoy a great game.

xenoblades is great game. shame it had to take so long for it to hit the wii console. this is the type of game that should have shown other devs what the wii was capable of early on. but im enjoying playing it now nonetheless, no dust on my wii yet.. and can't wait to get my hands on kid icarus for the 3ds, seems like a solid title..

well ign is a site with multiple consoles on it not like this one thats just dedicated to ninty and they just like nitpicking at nintendo consoles for some reason over there. its really bad at ign and other sites too. but if thats what they like then thats cool. anyone remember a game name blastcorps for the n64. heres hoping they bring that one back.

yea i do agree that we do need a mix of games.. cause right now on the wii im playing more sports and rpg games. such as pes, xenoblades and after i finish xenoblades i might move onto playing the last story or maybe super mario galaxy.. yes yes i know yall are laughing now but i know im not the only one who hasn't really played the mario galaxy games as yet, or maybe i am.. lol.. oh well
