This looks interesting. I'd probably check it out but I want to know is...AeternoBlade? If it was a copyright issue and he didn't want to deal with it I get that but it isn't. ChronoBlade just sounds better.

XSEED is hands down my favorite publisher. Not only do they bring many games to the states that other companies won't, the majority of the time the localizations are top notch. I have been getting games I probably normally wouldn't just to try and show my support.

But how do you explain other indie developers gushing about the Wii U eShop? It is a minor inconvenience, that's for sure. But the operative word is "inconvenience."

I definitely agree that we need to support indie developers but as some have said it should have been on 3DS. Guarantee the dude's pockets would erupt with much moneys, but it was just bad luck for it to be delayed so long and be in between the bridge from one gen to the next.

Would have been like a studio producing a new release on VHS as it was going the way of the buffalo, then comparing the numbers to DVD rental figures.

You don't need to say Luigi's Mansion was a bad game because it wasn't. It was great and it's under-appreciated. Plus it was on the Gamecube and that was a time when it was like supercool to have a Xbox and laugh at how Nintendo was for "kiddies" or whatever the cool kids said.

Would definitely buy Spelunky. I didn't know anything about Monaco but after researcing it a little, I'd probably end up getting that too. I also have no interest in Fez anymore. I used to not care about Fish's stupid comments but he just keeps baiting people. If he would have left it alone I wouldn't have minded and probably bought Fez too.

Doesn't really surprise me. The Resident Evil haters bandwagon has been going strong for quite a while (I personally thought 6 was fun). Some people haven't even given Revelations a chance. That probably has to do with the anti-Nintendo hipsters as well, though.

I agree to a point. Yeah I did buy Revelations already but as someone pointed out as well this really is a different game. But it's not too much that you'd be missing out if you don't get it.

Plus I usually take the 'no-plans' response as a dodge. Not always but you know, might just be someone using the CYA plan and not having to try to explain to your boss how accidentally you leaked information.

Normally on games like this I usually end up turning off voices when they repeat lines too often but I never got sick of any characters, not just Shulk. Amazing casting in a genre that usually requires the token overly annoying character.

I get what you are saying but we're just going in circles. He throws around insults not just at us lowly non-award winning losers but at companies who have titles older than he is. That's what I mean when he has no right.

As I said before, he has the right to sound like a donkey, so do the people who call him a donkey, and so do the people who defend him. That's not my point. So...what is yours? The people/companies he is constantly criticizing often have many more accolades than one indie title that has won some awards.

The put-up or shut-up argument doesn't work that well. When Cliff Bleszinski more or less tells Capcom that Resident Evil is garbage and he can "fix it" he has the right to say it. Phil Fish is not even close. He is still riding the coattails of Fez and can't tell anyone to shutup other than the people who attack him on Twitter. Which he actually does as well. My son's middle school friends are more mature than him.

I would advise against Schlongy-D's advice to read his twitter if you value your intelligence. I felt dumber the first time I read an interview with this kid. He has shown his ignorance long before this.

And something to prove his ignorance, not that it is difficult, I sure wouldn't mind a second screen while playing Ninja Gaiden. Having to hit Select every few seconds to make sure I'm on the right track isn't my favorite thing in the world. Also I cannot stand how awkward the analog sticks feel. I've had it for months now and still am not used to it.

It's apparent that he's not familiar with the series if he thinks Monster Hunter has ever had less than stellar controls. Yes there are fanboys who get upset by his comments but that is exactly what he is. He's got a great title that he is going to milk as example of how great he is. He's going to run out of ammo soon. Like the supporters of whatever president that continue to use the previous president as a scapegoat even long after he is out of office.

I've pretty much done the exact same thing. I don't know what the deal is but I just don't remember anytime in my younger years when I couldn't trust the people I relied on getting honest information.

Traditional? Symphony of the Night was as drastic of a change as it gets from previous titles. If Konami had the same ideals as you we would have never received Symphony of the Night in the first place.

Wow I didn't know Europe hasn't had the pleasure of this title yet. That's unfortunate and I hope enough people buy it for the publisher to feel it was 'worth' releasing so you guys don't have to wait on future titles.

I'm curious why Code Break hasn't been mentioned much. Is it because it's not really official yet or what?

Not that Konami didn't have a say in what the final product would be, I'd say it's more Mercury Steam/Kojima changing stuff than anything else.

And I feel that a true Castlevania fan will enjoy the reboot unless they just despise Rygar clones. I know the minds of radical fanboys just aren't wired properly so they tend to just hate everything. So they really don't even need to be acknowledged.

I know a lot of people gripe about Gamestop, but I love that I can sometimes cash in on some bonehead who trades in a new release and gives me a discount.

And Simon's Quest would be the best Castlevania if it were remade. I've been hoping for years it will happen. The majority of remakes are called unnecessary (primarily by hipsters but they aren't real people), but that's not true. Bionic Commando is a recent example of an old terribly designed game benefiting exponentially from a remake.

Holy god. I know long-standing franchises that have reboots/sequels/prequels always have major backlash but I guess I wasn't expecting it to be this bad.

The IGN review, if you can even call it that, isn't even worth addressing. That some people are even being swayed by that clown is kind of sad actually.

I played the demo, read several reviews and formed my own opinion. Like someone else mentioned the numerical scores should be removed altogether. I've come to enjoy many games that were panned by so-called experts and there fanboy rants disguised as reviews.

Technically they are letting us use them for free not giving them away. Mine came with console but I don't see myself getting enough value for the price to buy next year. Especially since the majority of titles I get excited about are usually the ones NA publishers are too afraid to localize.

I lurked a couple of other sites to see what others were saying, and the sense of entitlement and trolling made me realize why I like this community most.

As for the announcements. I was giddy when I saw the MonolithSoft game. And let's just say I'm glad I had already made my morning "deposit" before the Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei announcement. Still excited for Virtual Console. Save states alone are worth the small fee.

Greedy bastard? More like billionaire genius. And now that Disney is getting in on the action I really think this could surpass Skylanders. The reason may not even have to be due to a superior game, but the collectibles alone.

Activision is making a ton for sure but Disney collectors have been doing it for like 60+ years. I'll bet people who won't even buy the game will still buy every single item in the line.

Ha you did that too? I felt bad because Arc Rise is a pretty good game, but Xenoblade's allure was too strong to resist. I'll put it back in, eventually though.

As for me I'm still getting my butt kicked in Titan Tortuga in Unchained Blades, which is sure to take up most of my time this weekend.

I wish I had money to burn for this. I don't think I'd actually open it, though. For one, obviously because it's a collectors item. I also am in love with my XL. My son's standard 3DS seems so tiny now. Wish I could get it though because it's very cool.

That's something that I'm not clear on. I bought Code of Princess at Gamestop. It was the usual $39.99 plus tax.

But when I bought a $35 prepaid card at Walmart, which they can't tax, Unchained Blades was still a straight $29.99. Not that I'm complaining, it's just weird.

Right I get what you are assuming but that's all it is, not confirmation. We don't know what either party has said. Is it out of the question that Activision said 'hey you want to make this game now?', and Renegade Kid says 'we don't have the resources' and didn't want to lose their artistic control as independents and be swallowed by another company.

If you can assume than so can I. Unless you can say something that doesn't have words like 'basically' or other vague descriptive words, which I haven't seen.

Who knows? Maybe if enough people want to see it then it could happen. Saying eh whatever it's cancelled doesn't come across being all that interested.

It's not cancelled right? So it could happen. Mutant Mudds and the sequel, are obviously priority right now. I don't expect small studios to develop multiple franchises simultaneously.

True. That's the difference with Unchained Blades. You get some pretty decent skills (group target) without too much grinding if you plan ahead on the Skill Map.

I recently decided to start EO3 again, and with a decent party, fair amount of grinding, and best available equipment, Greedy Lizards are still kicking my buttocks.
