It’s a good game. I played it on Steam when it came out of early access, it’s been around since late 2018 I believe so it was around before the farming game craze.
@Tayrailbridge yea Larry didn’t even say anything bad. It’s an article about the Eshop and he commented a normal comment and Spider looks like they took it personally. Lol
That study about women gamers doesn’t really tell the full story. Mobile games can include Candy Crush or Temple Run. The study is poor in general, it doesn’t show actual data and it’s weird to show a study and not have it easily found. This same study also came out in 2014, being broad on its definition of gaming and same “women make up half of gaming”. It’s just clickbait.
And as a woman, I feel many things are geared towards us already (Especially books) and I don’t see a problem with a game that has a male protagonist. I personally believe not everything needs to be catered towards us.
@Athropos No one should “get over it” when it’s harming our environment, taking jobs away, and killing creativity while celebrating mediocrity and laziness.
@Kingy That’s crazy. I have played RE2Remake and liked it, but I plan on playing the original because they cut some stuff out. I also played 3 remake and I want to play the original because I was told it’s different. Such an odd way of thinking. But it’s all about business, not pleasure.
When I talk about censorship, I’m more worried about cutting parts out, cutting out dialogue, etc. but underage girls in skimpy outfits? Gross. Don’t care if that’s cut out. Anyone who defends that is weird and should have their computers checked.
As for the game, I have the original and the only thing I’m worried about is if they cut down the scares for a “wider audience”. So I’m going to wait on that.
We are welcoming goslings Monday, so we’ve been prepping our space for them so haven’t done a lot of gaming. Currently playing on the PC Nancy Drew and the Ghost of Thornton Hall. It’s pretty spooky, wasn’t expecting any jump scares so of course they got me good when I learned there was some.
I’ve always viewed Resident Evil as a trashy horror movie when it comes to story- I personally enjoy it and don’t care. It’s a silly, scary, and fun time so I’ll be looking forward to buying it later this year.
@Yodalovesu For you, but 40 dollars is steep for something you can complete in a day and for 40 dollars I can use it on another hobby that will last me a lot longer or spend it on a project/something important.
There’s also other games that are well developed and polished longer than 4-5 hours for less than 40.

Re: Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake Is Real, And It's Launching This Year
Knew this was coming. I have no interest in it unless they expand on it or make it like FF7, reimagined or something.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Direct June 2026 Predictions - What Do You Hope To See?
Something new a different, whether it be a current or new IP. Tired of remakes.

Re: Crystal Dynamics Comments On Its Use Of AI In Tomb Raider: Legacy Of Atlantis
@B3RTAY Part of being artistic is brainstorming, you’re not an artist if you need to rely on AI to give you ideas.

Re: "We Will Continue To Pay Close Attention" - Level-5 Issues A Warning Against Piracy
@jco83 Guess I’m scum then since I pirate games that are no longer available and cost 500 dollars physically in a game shop. Oh well.
Re: PowerWash Simulator 2's Next DLC Will Let You Clean Up A Galaxy Far, Far Away
Okay, I need the second game then. Helps that I love the first one.

Re: Review: Pokémon Pokopia (Switch 2) - One Of The Most Enticing Pokémon Games Ever
@Simu001 Same here. I kind of want to pick it up, but the weird Ditto/human thing puts me off. It looks lifeless in my opinion.

Re: Poll: What's Your Favourite Gen 1 Pokémon?
Cubone and Eevee I have a tattoo of Eevee on my leg.

Re: Review: Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties (Switch 2) - Maybe It's Time To Take A Break
Oof… can’t support that poor decision.
It’s weird how Japan will cast you out for drug use, but not sexual assault.
Re: Square Enix Is Making Changes To Its New HD-2D Game Based On Demo Feedback
I don’t see anything wrong with the title. I like the name Eliot, not every video game character needs a super unique name.
Re: One Of The Switch's Most Underrated Gems Is Getting A Sequel This Month
I didn’t think it was a good game and I didn’t expect a sequel. So this is a surprise.
Re: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Fails To Meets Sega's Expectations
Wow. I’ve never seen people get so heated over racing games. I like both and don’t care if one is better than the other.
Re: Pokémon Pokopia Switch 2 Pre-Order Bonus Revealed (North America)
I was going to get this, but I've decided not to because I don’t care for our characters being a Ditto. I’m happy for those who will get it though
Re: Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream Nintendo Direct: Every Announcement - How Would You Rate It?
I liked the original, so I’ll most likely check this one out. I enjoy the random relationship mechanic which made some interesting combos.
Re: Review: Dispatch Nintendo Switch 2 Edition - A Cracking Superhero Caper, With Some Naughty Bits Covered Up
I never understood the logic of it being okay for extreme violence in games, but major Pearl clutching if there’s a titty or butt cheek somewhere.
Re: Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake Switch 2 Demo And Silent Hill f DLC Collab Announced
@8bit-Man Agree. I’m sure they’ll water down the horror elements too, but that’s just me being negative. I hope I’m wrong and maybe I’ll check it out.
