Quite often games arrive earlier or exclusively in Japan, and those of us elsewhere in the world can only look on with envy or splash the cash on imported systems and games. Occasionally these Japan-only games are intriguing primarily due to the fact that they're peculiar — Hello Kitty & Apron of Magic: Rhythm Cooking is one such game.

First of all, that name is peculiar in itself yet, oddly, does a perfect job of explaining the concept — it's a rhythm game where a good performance improves cooking, and it goes for a super cute aesthetic. Yet still, it mixes things up further by throwing in cameos from the Arcana Heart franchise; that's a fighting series, by the way. As Siliconera explains, these characters are hidden and can only be unlocked with specific actions, but once available can take part in the cooking routines.

A couple of videos of this are below; who's going to start the localisation petition for this one?
