Honestly with me this is EXACTLY how I got into dragon quest. I had one and two on my gameboy for like 20 years but never got into them. Then one day I was bored and went back into it and played both of them.
Then I got 3 on eBay game boy
played 4-6 on ds
played 7 on ps1
played 8 on ps2
and then nine on 3ds
played them one after another couldn't stop
so dragon quest is the only game series I played in chronological order

I don't know about best but my favorites are: the Arcade game, Virtual Bart, Hit and Run

saw the kickstarter for this then played the demo at pax east, look good

mind was super mario bros BUT it was cartridge mixed with Duck Hunt for some reason

darn it I was afraid of that, Wily Wars, now im tempted to upgrade

What we need is a release date for the cowabunga collection

I played the demo for this at PAX East, it was fun. Got a sticker for beating a midboss

cool....too bad I bought them all at full price when they first came out...just couldn't wait

@CharlieGirl To be fair, some people love to guzzle the same genre over and over again and cant get enough of them

at least over a year is plenty of notice

This was my absolute favorite game in my entire SNES collection, I must have played through it 10 or so times

this stings a little but I already played Shin Megami 1 and 2 on emulators (the original two megami tensei's snes version as well)
