In a follow-up tweet, FDG reassured fans the whole thing was the real deal and promises to share more information about this special offer in the future.

darn I already 100%ted that game, but that does look cool
This is very cool, but hard to justify double dipping if you already have a physical copy.
Soundtracks are always nice to get though.
Im glad we're getting the soundtrack!
This kind of thing should be done at the start. I bought it physical x2 and digital x1 already.
Back in the day, anime studios would offer the box/goodies up for sale for the people that already bought the individual DVD releases. Sure would be nice to have that same kind of thing offered here.
Im in the opposite boat, I have been trying to get a physical copy of this for ages, but they are sold out everywhere. I also don't like collectors editions, so most of that would be a waste for me.
Smart idea actually. The aftermarket price of this shot up quite a bit. Gives existing players and people still trying to find copy another chance.
Happy I got it when I did and at a reasonable price for an import.
I'm just glad it's getting a re-print — I waited too long to buy a physical copy initially and initial print run ran out. I just hope it's priced reasonably, too many CEs these days have insanely bloated price points (looking at you, Ori!)
I own the original physical copy, which took a bit of work to track down and then import. Think I'll pass on this. If this was Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap though, I'd definitely double dip. I really loved that soundtrack.
Great game and soundtrack. Deserves all the praise it gets.
Too late, I already bought the standard a while ago.
@Arckadius Same here, want the physical release but I can do without the needless (and pricey) extras. Wish they could offer the game only as well...
Fantastic game! But I already bought it at full price, physically with the manual and stickers a long time ago. Pick it up if you haven’t. I recommend it 100%, because I didn’t stop until I beat it 100%.
I already own the game, so I'll be passing on this collector's edition. It's a good game though and worth picking up, if you haven't already played it.
YESSS!!! The price on eBay is around $90 anyway (at that’s just for a preowned, US copy), so “I’m happy” to pay similar prices for a Mint version with a couple extra goodies.
This news PLEASES the CodeMan..!
