While we're all patiently waiting for a brand new Mega Man game, there are plenty of reasons to revisit the Blue Bomber's very best. And now Nintendo is just giving us more reason to pick up these classics on Switch. The Big N has slashed the price of multiple games in the Mega Man series.
Arguably Capcom's most iconic franchise, Mega Man has always felt right at home on Nintendo consoles, debuting on the NES in 1987, but besides a few collections and the mobile game Mega Man X DiVE, we've not had a brand new game since Mega Man 11 in 2018.
If you haven't played any of the games in the series, now's your chance to experience one of the most iconic series in the industry. Or if you're a fan and happen to not have any of these games or collections on Switch, now's your chance.
You've got until 22nd May to pick up some bargains, so here's a list of all the Mega Man games included in the Mega Man Franchise Sale:
Game | Discount | Price |
Mega Man 11 | -50% | $14.99 |
Mega Man Legacy Collection | -33% | $9.99 |
Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 | -50% | $9.99 |
Mega Man X Legacy Collection | -50% | $9.99 |
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 | -50% | $9.99 |
Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection | -34% | $19.79 |
Not too shabby is it! Those collections have a number of games on them — in some cases, you're getting six games for less than ten dollars. If you're interested, don't wait, as the sale ends on Sunday 22nd May — so you better roll up quick!
Don't forget to let us know if you're going to pick any of these up in the comments!

I got all those. Mega Man Classic Legacy Collections were my first purchased games on the Switch. And I had recently got the rest.
$5 for x1 collection and we got a deal
Ugh, one of my favorite franchises. Sold.
I may consider triple dipping on some of the separate Mega Man entries on the WiiU since the input latency is virtually undetectable, at least by me. I currently have Mega Man 1, 2 and X, and they're all snappy and responsive compared to the collections. But, I'll still need to pick up the Legacy collection part 2's at some point since they came out on competing systems.
I might have to bite at that Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 if it’s only $10 right now thanks to the sale.
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and Zero/ZX Collection are some of the best action platformers money can buy. The Classic collections are also very fun for what they are.
cool....too bad I bought them all at full price when they first came out...just couldn't wait
No rush, this sale happens like every month. Get those Mega Man Legacy Collections down to $6 and then it's newsworthy
@Acein210 I would’ve payed 20 dollars for X1 alone, it’s such a good game!
Wake me up when the Battle Network collection is announced. Also Megaman Legends 3 </3
...How is Mega Man 11 anyways? Only one I bought was X Collection 1 since I grew up with the first game. (I need to play the others in that collection. >_>)
Mega Man Battle Network games need a compilation.
We need a sale on the Wii U/3DS eShops before those go away. I mean, not like they have anything to lose.
@OwenGamer22 oh I agree. My problem is I already own the physical cart. So for me to put it in the closet I'll pay $5 not $10. But that's the cheap guy in me lol
How dare you add to my temptation NintendoLife! I've been trying to resist buying Mega Man X Legacy
Collection 2 for the last week. I already have sooo many megamans (megamen?)
Edit: I caved in.
@Jgangsta187 Yep, I came here to say this. I don't really understand how this was newsworthy when these are the same sales prices every single time. Capcom sales are like clockwork. Okami is always 50% off. RE4, 5 and 6 are always 25% off. The Mega Man games never go below $9.99, and Mega Man 11 never goes below $14.99.
I swear they just hit a button once or twice a month without ever needing to change the percentages. Some intern logs in and switches it to "SALE = TRUE" and then reads a magazine for the rest of his work day.
@Joeynator3000 "...How is Mega Man 11 anyways? Only one I bought was X Collection 1 since I grew up with the first game. (I need to play the others in that collection. >_>)"
It was nominated as one of the 5 best Action Games of the Year at the 2018 The Game Awards.
NintendoLife users currently rank it the 18th best Mega Man game out of 51 (on Nintendo systems).
It's currently voted the 11th best Mega Man game on Ranker.com
