@Nintendo4Sonic yeah there’s more than 6 Sonic fans in the world. But the vast majority of them won’t know or care about cartridge memory sizes,or that a cutscene is missing.
These games are made for young kids and a dwindling group of older people like myself who remember the genesis.

99.999999999999999999% of the population will never know this game exists. It won’t hurt the reputation of the system. Nintendo is still the Mario company first and foremost.

What is this game for?
If you have a switch,and you like kart racing,you already have the best kart racing game that currently exists. Why bother buying this? It’s like stopping at McDonald’s on your way home from 5 guys.

It makes sense on Microsoft or Sony consoles,since those people might miss MK,but not on a Nintendo console.

@AugustusOxy this is what I always think of when I read complaints about this service. Why would anyone beg to be able to purchase these games a la carte when it’s TWENTY DOLLARS A YEAR to play as much as you want?!?!?

Especially since,as you mentioned,you’re really paying to be able to play Splatoon online,and again,it’s a tiny fraction of what you’d pay on either of the other two platforms

@OorWullie genius. This is how I feel at 39 years old. I have the Atari Classics collection on my PS4 hard drive,as well as Dig Dug,etc. I have the NES and SNES classics,may buy the Genesis one,and a plug n play Pac-Man (for the joystick).

Anything else I can play on Switch online,or DL on the PS store. In the future,most stuff I want will probably be on whatever the new thing is. I DL a lot of today’s games,because quite frankly I won’t care much about Overwatch in 10 years. Heck, after I beat Mario Odyssey I hardly touched it again.

@JaxonH it’s not gatekeeping,it’s why am I supposed to be excited about something I’ve already played? If you don’t have a PS4 (or don’t have a friend with one) then it’s new to you,but those of us who have one aren’t going to be wowed by seeing the same thing twice.

@SwitchForce Why are people on this site so hung up on the “physical vs download” thing? I go to a bunch of different sites and no one else cares that 20 dollar shovel ware comes on download instead of cartridge these days.
I understand buying physical on the “real” games for storage reasons and trade in value,but how many games on this list would that be applicable to?

It’s TWENTY DOLLARS for a YEAR. I don’t understand why people don’t see the value. If you can afford a switch and games you can afford 20 bucks. If you and a friend went to McDonald’s you’d spend 20 bucks. It’s not a large amount of money.

They’re downloaded on your Switch. They don’t require a WiFi connection
