It's disappointing that we STILL, even on Switch 2, can't expect average modern multiplatform games to run on a Nintendo console. "Miracle that it runs". WTF went wrong again? 500 bucks for a console and we are making it out to be Gameboy Color. Nintendo needs to seriously step it up with the hardware already. There is room to improve even if they want to keep the hybrid design.

Yeaaah this + the cartridge containing only few gigs of data means NOPE from me. Getting PS5 version physically and for handheld experience I'll just buy it on Steam and play it on the Deck.

@Kiyata By that logic, your phone is a handheld. It can do the same thing. Stream games via Wi-Fi.

@Agent_P Breath of the Wild for example. Some cartridges are already at 1.6.0. Japan has a version with the DLCs built-in too, which is super cool.

Batman: Arkham Trilogy is releasing exclusively for Nintendo Switch LMAO. I mean the games are everywhere else for a decade.

Bummer. Meanwhile Nintendo will actively re-release cartridges of their games with updates and DLC baked in and not even mention it.

God I was so worried to even read this article. Microtransactions in a full-priced Zelda game from Nintendo would be the breaking point with gaming for me.
