I recently finished Spider-Man PS4, and all I could think about afterwards was how much I wanted a physics system like that for Sonic. Simply going fast doesn’t make me feel like Sonic; I want him to be as stylish and smooth as possible while traversing

Liking the direction so far. Plan to get it on PS5. If I like it enough, I’ll get it on Switch too.

So glad all the Nintendo fanboys come out of the woodworks to voice their hate for anything Sonic. If you’re able to ***** on a game before its announcement, then your opinions are worth nothing. Makes it easy to know who to block/ignore.

Really disappointed in you NintendoLife for not marking this as spoiler and blasting it on the front page. It doesn’t matter that Nintendo themselves leaked it, you could be more respectful to your viewers and say “Nintendo leaked new game hours before direct” and for those interested in knowing what it is can click the article itself. We don’t just come here for news, I for one like to read the random, talking point and soapbox articles. So coming into this site today I am very disappointed in you guys. Please do better next time.

• a Sonic game coming to Wii U or 3DS

• More VC systems (Genesis, Dreamcast)
• a spin-off from any Nintendo franchise
  ??Mother 3 GBA

...that's it, really. I would be content with just one of these happening. I'm sure Nintendo's e3 direct won't disappoint.

@Nintendude789 - Well, it's good to hear that Mayflash is working out for you. By the way, I do set my HDTV to "Game Mode". I have a question though. So you know how game mode ensures that there is more responsiveness between the controller and the television, right? In the way that input-lag is reduced? Does that also apply for online? For example, when I play Smash 4 online with and without Game Mode on, I cannot really tell the difference if the input lag is reduced or not. Do you and your opponent have equal input lag online? Or does having Game Mode on when you are online give you an advantage over your opponent?

@Nintendude789 - the Mayflash adapter has had reports of having more input lag when compared to the official Nintendo one. This is crucial for any competitive smash player, including me. The Mayflash and other 3rd party adapters are cheaper for a reason, because they, in the end, are not as high quality as the original. I fortunately had the patience to wait for a restock of the official adapter, and will be receiving it May 8.

I will be disappointed if I do not see any of the following:

• Fire Emblem X SMT
• Fire Emblem Wii U or 3DS
• Zelda U
• Mario Party 10
• Starfox U
• Smash Bros update
• Mario Kart 8 DLC Pack 2 update
• A remake (HD or 3D. I just want a remake of Mario Sunshine or Luigi's Mansion.)
  That's all I can really think of at the moment. I know that Nintendo will mainly focus on games like Woolly World, Rainbow Curse, Splatoon, Majora's Mask, and whatnot, but I would really like to see one of my above mentions on tomorrow's Direct!

I hope Iwata stays president for a long time. Some people think that he's just some man with crazy ideas, thoughts, and plans of action, but I believe that he has the right vision for Nintendo as of now.

Worry not, guys. Miyamoto said that, if Aonuma wanted to, the Twilight Princess map could be "used" as an area of the game. He's not saying that the Twilight Princess map is one of the areas, but rather the scope of that map COULD be. Anyway, I'm sure this game will have a big overworld. I'm excited to hear that there will be big dungeons!

@ReshiramZekrom - I would love it if you could give me a quick summary of Sonic and Tails's back-story (that was apparently said in the Console Wars book)!

For the 2D games, I'd go with Super Mario World. Hands down. (SMB3, you were a close second!)

For the 3D games, I'd go with the Super Mario Galaxy games. Don't you dare make me choose between 1 or 2.

For the poll, I voted Super Mario World. I believe it's going to be Super Mario World in 1st, and Super Mario Galaxy 2 in 2nd.

@Yorumi - I fully agree with you. In the competitive scene, I use a lot of OU Pokemon, and that's because it's really the biggest chance you have at winning, sadly. There are so many Pokemon that I would love to raise and sweep teams with, but their stats simply just don't cut it. And I'm tired of seeing the same 50 out of the hundreds of Pokemon used in online. I want Pokemon to be better balanced, but sadly, it never will be. New Pokemon are going to keep being made, and older Pokemon will fade into obscurity. My only question is, what will gamefreak do when they have over 2000 Pokemon? At that point, gamefreak will either stop making new Pokemon and instead focus on balancing all the 'Mons, OR they will continue to make new Pokemon and Pokemon will then become painfully unbalanced (as if it already isn't).
