Re: Netflix Cancels Resident Evil Series After First Season

It was an odd series. Watching it with my bro and it stirred up a lot of conversation, but also a lot of... "UHHH WHY SHE DO DAT, THAT'S SO DUMB" or "UHH SHE COULD HAVE DONE LIKE 10 OTHER THINGS BUT SHE CHOSE THAT??".

I liked that cat in the bathtub part though. That was how it should have went. Dark and a little ***** up.

@nimnio I was able to get BOTW for the US price. Made a Canada paypal account, but when it prompt for the address when you're at the check-out, I put in a fake US address and got it. Total price came out to be around 38 bucks. Not sure if that works anymore, since 2 of my buddies couldn't get it to work after I told em. You might be able to get around it for the digital code if you have an American address for any of your accounts or able to do some sneaky stuff hehe.

@Old-Red I've put in like 20+hours so far. It's actually a pretty decent pick-up-and-drop moba. You don't have to pay for anything and I sure as heck haven't, but found some fun out of it. People complain about the pay to win aspect, but I haven't got to a stage where I saw that yet, and I'm quite decently level. Just found that some of the pokemon needed some balancing (like that dang Gengar).

I don't think it has much staying power right now, since it's lacking in content, pokemon and mechanics. Given time, I think it has quite a bit of potential. I played dota since it's WC3 days and boyyyyyy has that game come a long way with years of support.

Re: Faeria

The always online requirement kinda sucks (especially the NSO requirement), but the game is pretty solid. So far, big fan of the game. Might get more DLCs in the future if they come down a little bit.

I'm digging Faeria. There are some unfortunate things in it that are holding it back from being an awesome game (always connected requirement), but I dig the aspect of just jumping in for a couple of games. Still need to try the multiplayer, but the single player part kicks ass.
