I'm finally getting into Shin Megami Tensei V. I've had it on the shelf for like a year and a half now since I bought it fairly soon after launch. The demon fusion system is starting to click with me and the exploration has only gotten better with every new area.

I think in terms of gameplay it's probably my favorite turn based battle system that I've played. There are clever ways for you to get extra turns, but there's also the risk of potentially losing turns if you use an elemental attack that the enemy can block or absorb.

So far it's a game that just gets better and better the more I play it!

Just finished Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed. I was hoping that would last me until Tears of the Kingdom lol. So I don't know what to play until next week....

Until then I'm jumping around between various backlogged games. SMT V, Fire Emblem Engage, Dead Cells, Shovel Knight.... so many choices, but I also don't want to get too invested in something else before TotK. So I spend a lot of time just staring at my home screen right now

@MarioFan432 I'm still fairly new to the indie scene, but Moonlighter is one of my favorites so far! It's got great music and it manages to make you feel like you are progressing even though it's a roguelite. Plus the combat and difficulty are very fine tuned. 10/10 game. At some point I want to replay it and go through the DLC dungeon.

I actually finished Fire Emblem : Three Houses this week!! I was pleasantly surprised that the route was about 17 chapters instead of the normal 25-27 that I've seen with the other FE games I've played so far. I even had time to play through the Cindered Shadows DLC!

So now I'm just trying to take a break from the tactical RPG genre before I jump back in with Engage next week. I've been jumping around from Blossom Tales II to Smash to Super Mario Odyssey's post game that I never totally finished.

I'm late to the party on this one, but I started playing Pokemon Legends Arceus on Thursday. I'm having a lot of fun with it so far! It takes a LOT of cues from Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade, some of which make it new and interesting, and some of which seem a little silly. But overall I'm excited to keep playing it.

I started Octopath Traveler the other day. I can't believe how good it is! I bought it like a year ago and slept on it for a while... But so far it has really impressed me. I had seen gameplay footage but the visuals are so much prettier when you're the one playing it. Maybe because the lighting effects amd depth of field are better experienced fpr yourself. Anyway, the music and story are also excellent so far. There are some pacing issues now that I've gotten the 8th character, but overall just wow. This game is incredible.

Finished Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on Monday. Now I'm in a bit of a limbo trying to figure out what to play now. I've been playing a little of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which is really fun.

Also I happen to have hacked my 3ds this week (thank AntDude for that lol) So now I'm considering going back and playing/replaying some of the DS and GBA Pokemon games. I never played Gen 5 or the Gen 2 remakes, so those seem kind of enticing to me. But I'm also thinking about getting Legends Arceus since I missed out on it earier this year.

Before XC3 came out, I was slowly playing through the Kingdom Hearts All in One collection on PS4, but part of me feels that I should try not to give myself RPG burnout by playing too many in a row.

My main game lately has been Kingdom Hearts II on PS4, I've been going through the All in One collection slowly but surely. Really enjoying how many huge improvements II has over I.

I also want to play the Future Conmected content in Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition before 3. I've played through 1, 2, and Torna in the past year or so but never finished Future Connected.

I might be remembering this wrong but I'm pretty sure that New Super Lucky's Tale is not a port of an Xbox One game. Super Lucky's Tale is not the same game, and New Super Lucky's Tale came out on the Switch befofe other platforms.

Cool concept but not very well executed. The difficulty is far too high in many of the puzzles and it'll leave you randomly turning and adjusting until you solve it by accident.
