I play it with my 2 and 4 year old sons. They both love it, just as I do, as a long time fan! Well deserved win!

I bought Alien Isolation back when it was originally released years ago. I would never think that I would buy it again...but after seeing Digital Foundry's video I have to give some credit to developers for putting so much effort into this.This game is great. I spent 30+ hours in it. I will gladly revisit Sevastopol and a lovely creature that occupies it.

I was going to buy it for PS VR, but I guess I prefer it on Switch now. So cool to see so many good games being ported to our beloved Nintendo console.

I loved the gamepad from the very start, it was the key factor after purchasing the console in my case. I very frequesntly use off tv game play.

@mercurio2054 I actually own PS3 as well and even though I like some DLC i still went for Assassins Creed 4, Rayman Legends, Splinter Cell blacklist on the WII U...I prefer playing on Wii U gamepad because of the OFF TV funcion, oh and the graphics are better on the Wii U

@Nomad You are right about the 3rd party support but...we must say that Ubisoft is doing a great job (despite the lack of DLC content for the major games)

Wii U is a fantastic console. I bought it cheap few months ago just to try it out…and I was actually positively shocked. I hope sales will jump up, because this machine has a great potential. OFF TV play was the biggest selling point for me which woks like a charm. Great games – Super Mario 3d World, Rayman Legends, ZombiU now I’m playing AC4 on it and I love every second of it…not mentioning batman, splinter cell etc. Amazing piece of hardware. Mario Kart, Bayoneta 2, Super Smash Bros, Monolith Soft game and The New Zelda will boost the sales up by 400% minimum.....AT LEAST I HOPE!!!

@Einherjar Mature doesn't mean violent or sexual...it means approaching emotional and difficult subjects which we can touch through the special media like games. Look at GONE HOME, FEZ, FLOWER, JOURNEY... very mature games even though they don't look that way. They have a second bottom. I love Nintendo games but I'm a bit sick and tired of looking for a princess in another castle...I would rather look for empathy, serenity and love...
BTW I'm huge fan of MGS series because of the fact that I can finish the game with no kills and be proud of it!

@Einherjar True. Reason I mentioned Adult games is that Nintendo should grow up along with their aging audience. I was a boy when I got NES, not I'm 30 years old and still play Nintendo. I would love to see our favouirte IPs becoming more mature though. Exclusives are very important, that is why I have all SONY and NINTENDO consoles.

I'm glad Nintendo did this. They should be investing in more exclusive IPs for adults

My favourite 3DS game (after Kid Icarus) It will be handy to get a free download copy...I've kept my code since 2011 and I still have not used Luigis Mansion 2 code! Nice Christmas present!

I love Shuhei, he is super positive person. I completely agree with him. I own all Nintendo and SONY consoles (apart from PS4 obviously) and always looked at both companies as a whole for my gaming experience.

I live in Poland and own Wii, 3DS and WIIU.
Truth is that people here don't even know what Nintendo is...zero advertising...and people would definitely buy the consoles if they knew about the existence of it. Almost every kid owns a strong PC rig or X360...but none play or have any knowledge about Nintendo.
In fact I'm 29, have lots of friends and none of them own a Nintendo console...and people here are mental into gaming too...trust me

Oh and get this, the biggest gaming magazine in Poland always complain about the lack of support from Nintendo...They never get games for reviews for free, they actually have to import everything from the UK...how bad does that sound?

Other and maybe most important thing are the prices...
I buy games in the UK because they are cheaper!
I know plenty of people who also buy games in the UK...rates over here all crazy..
So that 400 WIIU concoles sold here are not a surprise. People with some brain got the concole in the UK for 30-40% cheaper...now you can add a higher number to the overall quantity of units sold....

@GN004Nadleeh Whatever Wii u does - it works well for me. 3 hours battery doesn't bother me as you can get it plugged in all the time. I love SONY and NINTENDO in the same way, therefore I'll be playing on both. Batman Arkham Origins, ACIV and Watch Dogs will definatelly buy on Wii U to give it some support. I'm looking forward to more N games though.

I'm not buying X1 at all. I will buy PS4 maybe this time next year.
I own a VITA but WII U gamepad is WAAAAY more comfortable and has a bigger screen. Very good machine!
I'm sure WII U will sell amazingly well when NINTENDO launches more quality games. This is gonna be the same as with 3DS...first it was a disaster now it is the best selling console of all time. Nintendo knows what to do!

Price is fine. I agree too. My only problem (hardcore gamer) is the lack of great games...I may get WIIU with Super Mario 3d World this Christmas. As for the rest of games I own wii, 3ds, ps3 and vita...I'm looking for some great BIG N exclusives...which I can't find on WII U now...too bad because I want this console badly

I played it on WII and PC. I still bought the 3ds version which is great. I know that VITA version is better but ... I didn't want to spend 200 pounds on vita....I love playing platformers on a handheld system and can't stand playing it on TV (it is just my preference). Game is superb. I can easily recomend it to anyone. And yes it has the same content it's 1:1 port. Only disadventages are : quality of music and washed out colors.8/10
