@Corbie - Hudson has a pretty good track record, so here's hoping it turns out good."
Hudson has an excellent record on WiiWare! None of their games have gone below 6.
I think Hudson basically (and Capcom for Mega Man 9, Square Enix for their titles) have saved WiiWare by putting in excellent hardcore games. If it wasn't for that, WiiWare would not be too much appealing to those type of people.
I prefer at least 4 games per week as Nintendo's standard (2 VC + 2 WW). Honestly, I can't take these one game per week per service anymore. I want more choice!
@Wiiloveit - Remember what you said about us not getting Maboshi until you got World of Goo? Now, I sense a similar path to the amount of games (as said in my post above).
Here is my Top 5 WiiWare Games of 2008: 5. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King 4. LostWinds 3. Space Invaders Get Even 2. Mega Man 9 1. World of Goo
I think to finish off the year with Nintendo games are good. But man, I hope Nintendo releases a bit more games into 2009 for VC (and WiiWare of course!)
@WolfLink22 - The WiiWare service needs a break or at least a demo of them like someone here said...
Um, no it doesn't. Nintendo just has to release FOUR games (2 VC + 2 WiiWare) every single week.
@Mipsymoodle - I HATE WIIWARE GAMES!!!!! All Wiiware games are flash games that can be easily found somewhere on the internet or at least something like it. Only Nintendo-based series like Dr. Mario manage to make semi-good games.
And all classic games can be easily found on the internet too, so what is the point?
Downloaded Bruiser & Scratch on Monday, and I have to say I'm very disappointed in the difficulty of gameplay, it is very hard. It took me forever to get past the first level.
I have to say Toki Tori is definitely a better game over this, sadly.
I'll download Bruiser and Scratch when I get more Wii Points. I'm completely out right now after I spend it on the complete set of Space Invaders Get Even and Pit Crew Panic! last week (which was 2800 Wii Points).
When I first saw the screenshots from Bruiser and Scratch I thought it looked like an excellent game was coming!
More importantly, where is Maboshi's Arcade? Still waiting for it.
I thought Tiki Towers and the last episode of Strong Bad was going to come out today. Bruiser and Scratch looks interesting though. I think I'll make a purchase.

Re: Mr Driller Tunnelling His Way To WiiWare and DSiWare
very interesting...
Re: USA WiiWare Update: LIT
Japan is starting to run away with the game count now... OVER 70 games / 4 new ones tomorrow! NOA + NOE, step it up!
Re: USA VC Update: Sonic Chaos
Japan gets 10 games a month, we get 4. How does that make sense?
Nintendo is basically a Japanese company, so they get more than the rest of the world. Also they get every single Nintendo made/published game.
Re: EU WiiWare Update: Pop Them Drop Them and Family Glide Hockey
@Dazza - Yeah, but you have to wait what NA gets on Monday!
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Niki - Rock 'n' Ball
I'm very surprised we only get one game this week, despite Japan getting four new WiiWare games tomorrow...
Re: Super Meat Boy Slides Onto WiiWare Later This Year
Wow! WiiWare is continuing to be great!
Niki - Rock 'n Ball, Crystal Defenders, more news of Bubble Bobble Wii, and now this game.
I like the future of WiiWare right now!

Re: EU VC Update: Enduro Racer and Donkey Kong 3
"And Europe is now only TWO games behind America in total."
Only from the help of EU getting C64 games (which no other region has).

Re: USA VC Update: Kirby's Dream Land 3
A new year means even more new games at the Wii™ Shop Channel.
Huh? I, I don't believe it Nintendo. How could you call this more when we get less new WiiWare and Virtual Console games?
Re: EU WiiWare Update: Fun! Fun! Minigolf and Strong Bad Episode 5
Just in... NA gets 1 WiiWare game (Sandy Beach), and 1 VC game (Kirby's Dream Land 3).

I smell the one game per week in North America now.

2. Mega Man 9
1. World of Goo
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Maboshi's Arcade and Pool Revolution: Cue Sports
...and both games I really want to get came!
I'm 200 points short for both though.
EDIT:
@Wiiloveit - Our good friend Dazza said the game is supposed to come this week!
Re: USA VC Update: StarTropics II

Wow though for WiiWare this week...hot games!
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Tiki Towers & Fun! Fun! Minigolf
@chunky_droid - They get the same WiiWare and VC updates so I wouldn't think so. And a Canadian on here got a free copy too.
That was because I switched my region to the USA when I heard about this news from RealArcade!
Re: Review: Tiki Towers (WiiWare)
I was guessing a 7 also, as it looks like a pretty good game!
Re: Review: Fun! Fun! Minigolf (WiiWare)
I think this is a very good minigolf game, it's just you have to get used to those controls. This is what I had the last few games on easy mode:
Game 1: +8
Game 2: +6
Game 3: +2
Game 4: -5
(then some other games repeated those + scores, but game 4, I was really happy!)
However, I'm really enjoying the game (with the exception of a couple holes), and I would give it an 8/10 (but that is just my own opinion!)
Also, I think the graphics are awesome, and I really look forward to your next WiiWare projects!

Re: Plättchen: Twist 'n' Paint
Wow. This seems funny, but IGN finally reviewed this game, and rated it more than double than this website. I was very shocked.

Re: USA WiiWare Update: Tiki Towers & Fun! Fun! Minigolf
I say that MaBoShi's Arcade must be released next week.
Also, it would be exactly 4 months since Europe got that game.

@Atlantis1982 - Look at the news about it below

Re: USA WiiWare Update: Tiki Towers & Fun! Fun! Minigolf
I got my gift of Tiki Towers!
Thanks RealArcade!
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Tiki Towers & Fun! Fun! Minigolf
12 p.m. ET/ 9 a.m. PT, the games launch...
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Tiki Towers & Fun! Fun! Minigolf
@mojo25 - The game is not even out yet!
Re: High Voltage Games/YUKE'S Company of America Interview - Evasive Space
Evasive Space looks very nice, but has there been any news about High Voltage Hot Rod Show recently?
Re: RealArcade Interview - Tiki Towers
500 Wii Points?!?!? What a DEAL!
I was expecting at least 1000 Wii Points!
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Strong Bad Episode 5 & Big Kahuna Party
@PALgamer - MaBoShi is published by Nintendo. The PAL regions will have one more Nintendo published game than the USA on Friday.
I would have taken that over World of Goo if I only had to choose 1 game out of the 2.
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Strong Bad Episode 5 & Big Kahuna Party
@danic - Agreed. We do need other genres, but lucky for Japan they get an RPG WiiWare game tomorrow called Sorcery Blade.
@Stuffgamer1 - I started getting interested in the Strong Bad series after I saw a score of 8 on the Dangeresque 3 review.
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Strong Bad Episode 5 & Big Kahuna Party
I wonder if Pool Revolution: Cue Sports is also coming on the 29th?
I'll be downloading Strong Bad Episode 5 - 8-Bit is Enough today.
Re: Let's Catch
Let's Catch is coming to the Japanese WiiWare this Tuesday, December 16th.

Re: EU VC Update: Last Ninja 3, Impossible Mission II and Boogerman
I feel sorry for Australian owners. It's a shame... ONLY 1 game in this fortnight.
Re: EU VC Update: Last Ninja 3, Impossible Mission II and Boogerman
The next VC update will be on the day after Christmas
or on Christmas (just like last year!) Let us hope...
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Bruiser & Scratch, Hockey Allstar Shootout
Well it looks like I lied. Paul got busy so I'm going to have to take this review. I'll try to hurry it up.
It's okay. I forgive you.
I have to say that I enjoy every reviewer that's on this site. Everyone has such a unique style that's quite different from one another.
This is why all the reviews are interesting.
Re: Review: Bruiser & Scratch (WiiWare)
Interesting review...
Downloaded Bruiser & Scratch on Monday, and I have to say I'm very disappointed in the difficulty of gameplay, it is very hard. It took me forever to get past the first level.
I have to say Toki Tori is definitely a better game over this, sadly.
Re: Strong Bad Episode 5 - Screens and Trailer
I'm expecting Strong Bad Episode 5: 8-Bit Is Enough to be released this upcoming Monday (December 15th).
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Bruiser & Scratch, Hockey Allstar Shootout
@Corbie - I guess they did!
Back on topic: Are you doing the review of Bruiser & Scratch, Corbie?
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Bruiser & Scratch, Hockey Allstar Shootout
I love the way IGN quickly reviews the bigger name titles and just gets to the others whenever they feel like it.
How about Hockey Allstar Shootout?
http://wii.ign.com/articles/936/936990p1.html
Re: Hockey Allstar Shootout
This looks uninspired and bland. I'll play NHL '94 (which I'm terrible at) on my SNES any day over this. I'll wait for the review, but this looks bad.
Indeed the game is awful.... (1/10)
Re: Review: Hockey Allstar Shootout (WiiWare)
Ladies and Gentlemen, WiiWare World has hit another milestone...
This is the first 1/10 they have given to a game!
However, this is embarrassing that my homeland developer didn't do well at all on this review.
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Bruiser & Scratch, Hockey Allstar Shootout
I see NoJ is playing their cards nicely.
And they get this Shootanto game tomorrow. Although it's just that game, they did get the 4 games last Tuesday.

Re: USA WiiWare Update: Bruiser & Scratch, Hockey Allstar Shootout
@SilentJ - The game is also known as MaBoShi: The Three Shape Arcade in Europe. It came out there on August 29 and in Japan on October 7.
Here is the game page:

Re: USA VC Update: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Master System)
Only one game again this week? That's too bad.
I wish Nintendo would release 4 games every week. (2 VC + 2 WiiWare)
Sadly, they only release 2 WiiWare + 1 VC these days. Let's get even here and release 4!
Re: USA WiiWare Update: Bruiser & Scratch, Hockey Allstar Shootout
"Where is Cue Sports?"
More importantly, where is Maboshi's Arcade? Still waiting for it.
I thought Tiki Towers and the last episode of Strong Bad was going to come out today.
Bruiser and Scratch looks interesting though. I think I'll make a purchase.
Re: Review: Pit Crew Panic! (WiiWare)
Great review Corbie!
I'm looking forward to Hudson's next title!
