Sold. The save issue isnt a big deal for me...I often just tap the power button on the go, then pick up where I left off later. This really looks enjoyable. How's the story?

I've recently purchased 3 games: Splatoon 2, Bayonetta 1/2, and Mercenaries Saga Chronicles. While the first 2 are graphically superior games, I can't stop playing Mercenaries.

That's a good point. I dont recall dying much, if ever. I never finished the game though. I suppose upping the difficulty would change that.

Turn based WW2....yes!!! Im going to research this World Conquerer X series and if it's good, I'll be buying on day 1.

It's been a busy weekend, but on my downtime here's how I've been nerding it up:
1. OOTP 18 on pc: Tediously recreating the MLB starting in 1871, currently up to year 1874. So far the chanpions have been:
-1871, 1873: Boston Red Stockings
-1872: New York Mutuals

2. Panzer Corps on PC

3. Mercenaries Saga on Switch

Im torn about Dark Souls. I played the xbox360 version, got to the first dragon and quit in frustration. Maybe it isnt for me or maybe I just need to try harder. Idk. Lol.

As a huge fan of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Im enjoying this game. The story is terrible, but I just fast forward through the dialogue to get to the action.
If you loved ffta, you will love this for the tactics. It is a shame that the story is so generic and bad...this could have been a real gem. However, for 15 bucks it is still enjoyable and hard to put down.

Recipe for success:
Ingredients :
-Baseball Stars
-Super Mario Baseball

Preheat oven to 375.
Combine Baseball Stars and Super Mario baseball in glass pan. Stir together.
Cover with aluminum foil and cook on center rack for 45 minutes.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
Serve.

Totally get where you're coming from. Also it's rather short. I enjoyed it for what it was...but this ain't Bioshock. I got it for free with xbox gold...I wouldnt pay for it unless you really enjoy point and click. I know, it probably isnt a true point and click. ..pretty close though imo.

All the same, for the few hours that it took me to complete I had a good time.

Somehow I never played Fire Emblem but what I know of it really sounds like you are right. Im totally planning on getting the new one for switch when it comes out.

Advance Wars and Final Fantasy Tactics were awesome. ...invested a ton of hours in both those games.

I was thinking I might try this until the $50 price was mentioned. This sounds more like a $20 game...at least for me. I'll watch for this one to go on sale.

Ya, I wouldnt pay that price for darkest dungeon. I have it on Steam, and while it's well done for what it is, I personally found it to get repetitive after a while.

$5 for turn based tactical, my favorite genre? I'm in.

Its hard to get excited about "a few hours of story", when Im currently playing through Skyrim. I don't need Skyrim level content depth, but I do need more than a few hours.

This really does feel like a nice little pinball experience. The only question is, will I ever play it? There are so many great games for switch right now that pinball has thus far taken a back seat.

I added Skyrim as 1 of my top 4 since Im one of the 5 people who hadn't played it...really enjoying it on the switch...even more than Zelda.

This is really cool...Im not sure though. I played the heck out of it when it first came out.. .not sure I need to go back. Great game for those that havent played though.

One of the few weaknesses of the game is a lack of an automatic recipe book that remembers your successful ingredients. Skyrim got that right.
