@gopher1369 although I already had it on DC, Shenmue 2 was Japanese audio only, I bought an original Xbox just to play Shenmue 2 on (and Halo. 2 reasons)

For me it's Shenmue. The first proper open world game and it amazed me on release. I replayed it on my Dreamcast every year until maybe 2014ish when my DC finally died

Emulated it on PC for a bit but was furiously happy it got re-released on modern formats as it was janky as hell via emulation

@gcunit same, I've had to replace the sl/sr cable on all 4 of my Joy Con. Fiddly job but at least the cables are cheap

@Ploppy I own 2 pairs of joycon and have had to replace each of the analogue stick at least twice, possibly more, I honestly lost count. Fortunately it's cheap (£6 for 2 on eBay) and takes about 15 mins but for me a Joy Con analogue stick lasts about 2 to 3 years before it drifts and needs replacing

@boxyguy I've replaced the ribbon cables connecting the SL/SR buttons 4 or 5 times. Fortunately it's a 15 min job and costs about £2 but I absolutely shouldn't have to.

I've also replaced my analogue sticks probably 8 or 9 times now (4 Joy Con all bought on launch day). I've replaced the Joy Con rails once and now the fan is rattling so I'm going to have to replace that soon too. May as well do the battery at the same time as that's 5 years old now

None of this is acceptable but at least it's a very, very easy device to disassemble and work on

How is Disco Elysium rated so low on Switch? I also play games on PC and it's considered one of the best, possibly best ever PC CRPG. It has a 97% rating on Metacritic. 97%! That's the highest rated PC game of all time (Half Life 2 is second in 96%)

Poor list. Some games aren't that good, others aren't really family games. Stuff like Boomerang Fu and Tricky Towers are orders of magnitude better family games than most of the stuff on this list

This isn't true, Touch is the full PC game, the difference between Touch and the main game is Touch has some of the annoying/boring stuff like half time team talks removed to make the gameplay faster.

@chardir I had this on 2 of my 4 JoyCon fortunately the ribbon cables are cheap to buy and only take about 10 mins to swap out. I've also replaced 2 of my four analogue sticks. Total cost for 2 sticks and 2 cables was about £10

@Bermanator you don't use the pointer for running and jumping, you use the analogue and jumping. In fact Galaxy barely uses the pointer at all. The only times I can recall you needing it is to fire star bits at enemies, which if anything will be easier and more accurate with a touchscreen

@beazlen1 I've seen a couple reviews for the mclassic, it does look really good. I wouldn't use it enough myself but it's an impressive bit of tech. (I moved my Wii back to my bedroom, 32" 1080p TV there and Wii games look fine in it)

@Slowdive Oh yeah, absolutely, I once hooked my Wii up to a 50" 4K TV to give Xenoblade a try and it was horrible. I didn't try it twice!

@liveswired I definitely didn't. The N64 didn't support progressive scan output, it was 320x240 interlaced on a 14" CRT TV via an RF cable.

@Perryg92 Same, the greatest game of all time Zelda OOT was 240i resolution at 20FPS, anything that equals or betters that is just fine with me. And yes youngsters that's not a typo, 240i resolution.

@Quarth It replaces the jogging with, well, it's difficult to describe, you bob up and down on the spot, think lots of tiny squats.

@Deathwalka It is full screen! There's 3 options: full screen (which is the default), pixel perfect (which runs in a window to match the original resolution) and CRT filter (which looks horribly, offensively bad to my eyes).
