Sega has revealed that Football Manager 2021 Touch will be launching on Nintendo Switch in December following a slightly earlier November release on other platforms.
The full-fat experience, simply called Football Manager 2021, now has a locked-in release date of 24th November on the Epic Games Store and Steam. It'll also be available on Xbox devices "before the end of the year".
The Switch 'Touch' version, which plays in a simplified format most closely in line with smartphone versions of the game, launches this December with no specific date confirmed as of yet. Last year's Football Manager 2020 Touch arrived on 10th December 2019, so we can expect a similar date here.
Despite its obvious shortcomings, we felt that 2020's Touch edition was still an enjoyable experience on Switch, so we're hopeful for more of the same this time around. Make sure to let us know if you're interested in picking this up with a comment below.

"The Switch 'Touch' version, which plays in a simplified format most closely in line with smartphone versions of the game"
This isn't true, Touch is the full PC game, the difference between Touch and the main game is Touch has some of the annoying/boring stuff like half time team talks removed to make the gameplay faster.
And still no physical release for Switch?
I wasn’t keen on the touch version. Wake me when they do a full version on the switch. That’d be an insta-buy for me!
Right now it's impossible for me to football manager 2021 Touch this game lol
Still playing Champ Manager 97/98. When is that getting ported to Switch?
@gopher1369 I was going to say the same, this statement is not accruate.
A month later? And when it doesn't sell as well on Switch, they will blame Switch owners for their lack of interest and not acknowledge the delayed launch at all.
Mark my words.
A month later and 4 times the price. Pass.
So I learnt from the people in the comments that Touch and Mobile versions are not almost the same and in fact it is more in line with the PC phat version. If this is true, is this going to be corrected in the main article by the author which is named @Ryan Craddock ?
If it doesn't implement any new features over last years version I will skip this years one. I actually like the Touch version as it puts in more in line with how the games were a decade ago. One thing I wished it did have was keeping track of players season stats over their careers rather than just the current season.
Touch is a full featured streamlined PC version that comes ‘free’ with the main game, that is ported to iPad as well as some Android phones and tablets.
this came out 2 days ago by the way
