Own it on Wii U but want to buy it again for the co op mode. I remember really liking it back then but unsure if the co op aspect really works. This seems the perfect opportunity to check that.

@AstroTheGamosian Shin'en would do a great job with F-Zero. Just look at Fast Racing Neo/RMX. They are great games, imagine what they could pull pur with a bigger buudget and more established IP.

@derdennis yes, zero suit Samus would be cool as a trainer. Also, wii fit trainer, little Mac and doc Louie would’ve made so much sense. A little Nintendo rep would be good.

No problem with the koopalings. 8/8. On the other hand, if you ask me about baby bowser, bowser jr or koopa kid, I still get confused with them.

wow gotta check pianista. rock band is one of my favorite games and still our go to party game. this could be another option for those late night note hitting sessiones.

Well, if Smash port is indeed comming to Switch, Spring Man along with Inkling should be the least new content they should add.

Smash with all 3ds and dlc content, Star Fox with traditional controls and nothing else.

the main problem with this is licensing. scratch all rare games that are not nintendo ips. bond and kobe bryant also. third party games as turok or ogre battle. but then again, nintendo has it's own impressive catalogue, but then again, why pilotwings 64 and excitebike 64 have not been released in VC???

I think that the next Mario Kart game should be Nintendo Kart or Smash Kart, covering different franchises. Something like Sonic and Sega All Stars. Nintendo already tried that with the MK8 DLC and honestly, those were some of the best tracks. It would inject fresh air to the franchise and expand it beyond the Mario franchise limitatios. Metroid themed tracks? It would be awesome.

Sadly, I have come to understand that for third party games, Nintendo platforms are not the option if those games are multiplatform. We always miss something, being it DLC, online services termination, or lousy ports. And this is since the Wii times. The last straw for me was the Rock Band hoax. Now I have a huge song library on Wii sitting there withput the option to export it to a current gen console.

I think Nintendo has plenty of franchises that should move or have a strong presence on mobile. Big Brain Academy, Brain Age, Nintendogs, WarioWare, Art Style, Flash Focus, Picross, Puzzle League/Panel de Pon, Dr. Mario, Rhythm Heaven, Pushmo... all the franchises that had a great success on DS and Wii because they struck a chord with casual gamers. Now that those gamers migrated to mobile phones, it's just natural to bring these games over. The latest Nintendogs or Brain Age did'nt have the same impact on 3DS but on mobile they can still find their audience.

Yes that concept art is awesome. it doeas scream Last Story. it even resembles Dagran (you can see my avatar). It would be awesome to have a spiritual succesor to the Last Story, or even direct sequel, and obviously on a nintendo platform. With this and the Final Fantasy VII and XV rumours i'm excited to see if NX turns out to be the JRPG console of next generation.

wow, this would be the most cruel april fools joke ever for me. I'm a huge fan of Nintendo but Final Fantasy is the only franchise that keeps me returning to PS. glad we're not in april so there would still be hope. this would be awesome.

I see why Nintendo is so eager to get this published in the west, even if it's them who do it. Seems like a brilliant implementation of the GamePad and this will help to showcase more it's potential.

I just can't wait for this. The next best thing to a F-Zero game. But yes, I wish Nintendo had picked it up from the start, thrown some extra budget at Shin'en, and made it an F-Zero game. But well, at least we'll have something and it looks amazing tbh.

I think it's my least favorite MK game so far... the overall art direction was a letdown for me. Despite this, DK Mountain is one of my all time fave courses.

It is really worrisome the situation that japanese developers and the industry in general seem to be in. I have faith in Nintendo's future, but I'm not so sure of many of the rest of third party developers.

well that's sad... I'd prefer to buy a console for it's fun factor than just because it has good graphics or for brand recognition, which this last one is a pathetic reason.

my only concern with this game are the character's faces. god, those faces! hope they do something to make them less creepy doll like.

Since this marks the firts tima a NEZ Zapper game comes to VC, would the rest of the games for this preipheral will come? I know most are still uber simplistic, like Hogan's Ally, but I would love to play again Gumshoe! That would be fun.

I would really say Shiek, but I just don't like te "female" version of him. For me Sheik's always been a male and that's the way it was handled in OoT. Female Shiek just doesn'ts do it for me. I know is really you-know-who in disguise, but I've always thought she disguised herself as a male shiekah through the power of magic, so the gender swapping shouldn't be an issue. Maybe if they did a more androginous version, kind of like in SSB Melee, where he could pass as either a male or female? Since Brawl, he's been more feminized.

I hope it has a multiplayer vs option. really liked The Last Story's and since nintendo wi-fi connection is gone now, I really need my sword/magic brawling dose.
