My understanding, it is not possible to get your money back from Nintendo eshop purchases in Canada.
I had good experience with MK8 DLC, (actually I'm hoping there would be one more at some point) but Zelda BofW DLC1/2 could have been better. I mean it's still OK but it does not match the game itself, not even new enemies were added.

Honestly if I could get refund for eshop purchase I would considered getting my money back. At least my son loves it.

When Nintendo announced new dungeons I expected network of interconnected underground catacombs spreading all the way underneath surface.
In reality they just recycled already existing concept.

Really interested in this game on switch, reminded me of good old days with unreal tournament, don't think frame rate and resolution would bother me since I did not play original 2016 (nothing to compare to). Unfortunately I bought Mario odissy and cannot afford another $80 game for a time being. May be when it's on sale.

Upon buying switch i sold my wiiu and after a while playing breath of the wild and mario kart I miss Wii u games. I wish they released all wiiu games on switch, I don't mind re-buying my favorites.

I wish they added new track to mk8d. Likely Nintendo wants to make money on DLC. With current pricing on switch games I'll be very selective buying games.

Sometimes one has to cut losses and move forward. So we enjoined wii u while it lasted.
What bothers me more is the fact there is no talks about wiiu mk8 Battle mode update. Also on switch mk8d no new racing levels really I don't play splatoon, not a fun of Zelda so no reason to buy switch till disent library builds up.

Switch will be ok, even if it fails as home console it would gradually replace 3ds, so potentially switch sales figures would match 3ds.

I think all so called vc games should be free to owners of NS regardless if they were purchased in the past. There got to be some motivation for people to buy that thing.

I still think switch is running on Linux/Android, if that the case all current Android library technically easily portable to switch. We should see plenty of games, quality might be questionable though.
Regarding online gameplay, if it is too expencive to maintain servers, can't they release stand alone server so we can host multiplayer ourselves. Paying for playing MK8 online sounds bad. We only play once in a while now and I would not want to pay monthly or annual fee for occasional round on playing on line.

There are people buying WiiU now but it's not going to change its doom.

What Nintendo needs is an adaptor to be able to plug/play 3DS games into switch.
Nintendo should have made a second slot for 3ds games. I guess either the nature of switch/Android vs. whatever 3ds is running on are incompatible or they didn't want to kill 3ds hardware so obviously.

Any news about Wii u pro con compatibility with NS?

I was hoping for at list 16 new tracks. So far it looks really bleak, don't know if Nintendo would be able to recover as they did with 3ds.

The only game we really play on wii u is mariokart 8, if nintendo releases new levels for wiiu version as well I'll unlikely to pick up switchtill new mario Odyssey is out.

Picked up game yesterday. Spent few hours playing. Nice game but there is room for improvement. No map on main screen, also in local multiplayer It is anoin to have to wait for a human player in 12th spot to finish the race, heshe is last any way. To keep this game going Nintendo would have to release at least one FREE new track every month. Track ebitor would be the best.

Can't believe I paid $65+tax for this game. Better be good.

I read that with purchase of MK8 within first release month you can download one of four games. I guess that would make it 65 / 2 = 32.50 per game. Not too bad.

What I find hard to understand is "box" games pricing on eshop. Nintendo saves money on packaging, transportation and yet the prices sometimes higher than retales. If MK8 does not sell well high price tag would be at least one of the reasons why.

I wish it was possible to log in using wiimote instead of game pad, my family prefers wiimotes over gamepad and it's annoying that we forced to use it . people should have option to buy wiiu without gamepad

@OliverAdam what's not to understand, ps4 and xbox1 are basicly sff PC. Any current PC game or Amy project for PC can be customized to ps4 and xbox1 with no effort. If Nintendo went with x86 architecture we would have see all those games (toned down) on Wii u as well.

If Nintendo does not plan to release additional levels as add-ons they should include level building editor. I had so much fun with community levels on Wii.

Developer should patch it. I think it is possible as DLC. The show is actually good.

@BinaryFragger where is such thing as budget. Not every one can afford to buy more than one console never mind games for multiple consoles.

thanks god for custom Mario kart Wii levels, they will keep me going till MK8 release.
