Lol I wonder if they will announce DQXII for the Switch Pro early like how they did for DQXI on the Switch before it was even called that.

I still have my original snes ZAMN cartridge. I never got to play Ghoul Patrol though. It was more obscure and hard to find.

Shmup fans interested in Cave games should try and support this if possible. Good enough sales could lead to more Cave series like Dodonpachi and Mushihimesama.

Xcloud just seemed to good to be true. I think it'd more like Microsoft allowing some of their titles on Switch. I'm betting on stuff like Masterchief Collection and Rare Replay and then they'll top it off with Masterchief in Smash as an E3 reveal.

My dream would be a Chrono Trigger remake or a sequel after Chrono Cross

A gamestop employee told me that this game will be in a limited release for a while because of the chip shortage going on. In regards to a Pokémon game he said that was a pretty big deal.

I'm sure you can get it with relative ease, but just in case it does get a shorter print run you might try and grab it sooner rather than later.

I just like owning physical media. Switch feels like it might be the last console that does it. Also it's really fun collecting for the Switch. I like seeing how awesome the covers are for the games. Also a lot of them have become very collectable and rare which makes the hunt for them a fun hobby. Lastly, I just like the aesthetic of Switch games. Their size and shelf space seems just perfect for me. Taller than 3ds games and skinnier than psp. Vita cart boxes were also very neat and compact, but I just like the Switch carts more.

@NookMiler not the game. It was critically acclaimed. It was Phil Fish himself who was in the spotlight of dumb fake controversy about. Basically it was just an ego thing and spawned old memes about indie developers and how highly they think of themselves. Go watch Indie Game the Movie. It's actually really good.

I think Xbox was doomed at the very start of the first console in Japan. Microsoft just sorta brute forced their way into the market and what they had to show from the very start were Western games.

@PacMang its the first step towards it happening. Getting them onto the system was the biggest issue. Now it's up to NISA if they will get the rights to the translations. That's where you and everyone else can help by letting them know how much you want them.

Hopefully NISA can work through the legal translation rights and bring those recently announced Asia Switch versions of Trails of Cold Steel I&II and the Crossbell series to the west. XSEED owns the rights to a lot of the early Trails games and the Crossbell series is still not "officially" translated by the developers, but the hard work of Geofront is making that happen for Crossbell.

I'll pick this up for my son. We love watching the show together.

Game is selling out locally around me. I bought mine from a Walmart and the employee said that I was the 4th person to buy the game on a row.

This game just recently topped BOTW by becoming my most played Switch game of all time. I kinda feel bad about that, but honestly Dead Cells is my drug.

Maybe once I start Monster Hunter Rise that'll take over...

Yeah this game is honestly the worst arcade game I've ever played hands down. I never beat the first stage.

Make a Switch collection with Tales of Symphonia 1&2 and I'll gladly buy it again.

FFVI is peak Golden Age jrpg. It's nearly #1 for me but Chrono Trigger beats it just slightly.

Last Story and Pandora's Tower were cool games

Don't talk about a sequel. Instead focus on doing an awesome port/remake of the 3DS version and get it on Switch!

You know what? I really hope they release a Smash Bros Ultimate Deluxe Edition that contains all the dlc on it. I already own the base SBU on Switch, but I'd buy a physical if they did an ultimate edition. This is one reason why I haven't purchased the 2 dlc character rosters. I felt burned by it because of Smash WiiU. I didn't really expect them to out every single Smash character in one game lol.

So it still doesn't power on the console itself? That's what I was wanting the most lol. Still the original 8bitdo Snes pro is an awesome controller and the only Bluetooth controller I ever use.

I can imagine all the employees looking at the internal list of upcoming games for the next several years and just giving a big sigh and shaking their heads...

@FargusPelagius I expect them to have multiple projects being worked on and have definitely been given lots of opportunities to work on huge games like that. Panic Button are wizards for sure!

I hope we can still get those Dark Souls 2&3 Switch ports that were rumored several years ago...

Makes sense to me. I'm not a marketing expert, but the people who work in that department are paid for their ideas so this really does make sense. No biggie. I have an embarrassingly large backlog of Switch games to play...

@Trajan probably 85% don't care and just want to collect a Zelda game because they like the series. Collecting for Switch is fun and this is a good game, just not the best in the series.

These game collections for the Switch sure are nice. I have all the Mega Man collections, the Darius collections, the Aleste collection, the Mario 3D collection, the Amnesia collection, and the Kunio Kun / Double Dragon collection.
