@GrailUK i dont think switch will beat last years sale. for this year, Switch's sales are actually down year on year. the demand may have already plateaued and is in the down trend. no release of software will change that.

This is how i use my switch, been playing it alot for a year, accidentally splashed water in it, since its out of warranty and i have some modest knowledge in repairing electronics i repaired it myself. After replacing the battery, cleaning the motherboard etc. i booted it up and reinitialized it. Then to my surprise nintendo PERMANENTLY BANNED my switch. When i called the hotline they told me the ban was due to me modifying the hardware of my switch. WTF i get banned for repairing my own stuff. So F you nintendo.

TLDR: i pirate all things nintendo now and will gladly teach all my friends how to do even it so they dont have to buy anything from this shiet company

@Willo567 i think the difference lies in the value. NSO is basically almost the same price of PS+ now. Wherein the PS+ offers better discounts, newer free games, and better online infrastructure and functionality.

Clearly very few here are long time PC gamers. Same as the PC, its not that Physical and digital cant coexist it just that eventually Physical will be pushed out since no one buys them anymore. Its a natural death. The same will happen to console games. Basically the convenience of digital has a greater weight to the majority of people than "owning" your game.

@Bentendo1609 CEMU is actually very efficient. my work issued laptop which has specs weaker than the published specs of the steam deck can comfortably emulate BOTW at a stable 30 fps.

Just got a 3090 finally achieved a stable reshade RT 4k 60fps for the CEMU BOTW. downloading this for CEMU right now. hope its not as boring as the main game

@Wilforce the thinking that only "pros" will notice this is really not true. ANY DECENT PLAYER knows to turn down all settings to increase FPS. example are those in Overwatch, COD, CS reddits, those who follow youtubers, FPS streamers etc. all know the importance of FPS and meta. its not just the pros. I have a 1.4 KD in COD and even i notice the difference when playing in my 120hz monitor vs a PS4. its actually easier playing with a higher sensitivity with a higher FPS.

Average players dont care about the Meta? play ranked overwatch, see how many "average players go off meta? maybe in switch? because the player base isnt really invested on the game yet, but on other consoled and PC.. EVERYONE is playing meta. in COD and COD warzone see how many off meta guns are used by players, you see the same handful guns over and over.

@Wilforce its actually easier to track thing with higher fps. Tests have been made that though your response increase is really not that large , the TTK average will increase because its easier for your brain to snap to and predict the next location of your oppenent making tracking targets easier. Thats why PC players on COD, CS or any competitive shooter lower all graphic settings to achieve 150-200 fps because it does give you an advantage taking into account that the TTK of the guns there are measured in milliseconds.

@Flugen SEGA owns boyenetta, Nintendo only has publishing rights since they funded its development for Bayo 2 and 3. The IP and Its corresponding trademark Is owned by SEGA and was in fact renewed by them just this January. Platinum is just a hired developer, they have no say or any right to the Boyonetta IP. So if ever SEGA decides to make Bayo 4 a xbox or PS exclusive Nintendo and Platinum has no right to object to it.

@mazzel publishing rights just mean that, publishing rights. The IP, Trademark belongs to SEGA. In fact they just renewed it. Its just that SEGA doesnt want to foot the bill for development. SEGA can decide to make Bayo 4 a PS exclusice if it wants to.

@Imerion plus the graphics settings you are fiddling in the switch is just the post processing Effects toggle, you can have all that on in the PC low setting without it becoming blurry since said effects have barely any performance impact.

@Imerion huh what are you smoking? The PC Low has a Higher resolution over all, more detailed textures, foilage wasnt paired down, grass wasnt paired down, has a better shadow quality, and has a farther draw distance.

I mean the witcher 3 switch is great and all, but come on, we all know it was no “medium” graphic setting build, if you go by that, whay abput the PS4 version? High or ultra?
