@the_beaver personally I was raised on Nintendo, having the nes and snes so I was a console player. Then after high school I got my first PC and have been playing on that since then. Got later PS at first because of exclusives and then noticed I enjoy 3rd person games better with a gamepad on anlarge TV. So I started playing on 3 platforms
Not every game has to have difficulty options, not every game need to fit all player types. It is ok to have very difficult games, this has been like forever. The original battletoada was hard AF and it is a classic beloved by many. Its been decades since difficult games appear from time to time and it is ok. Regarding Silksong, a friend of fine already finished it, told me it was a bit more difficult than the original, which I find fine.
This is a good list for people owning just the Switch 2. I play on three platforms and I always pick multi-platforms on PC or PS. Hope that the next year will bring more exclusives, for this year only interested in Hyrule Warriors.
Huge musou games fan, currently at approx 70% of Fire Emblem warriors. This will be the first game I pick up when I buy the Switch 2, very exited about that (loved all Nintendo-themed musou games). However, still not a system seller for me, so hopefully will be my togo game with theSwitch 2 OLED in hopefully two years.
I will be watching every Direct with anticipation. I didnt get the Switch 2 mostly because there are only 4 exclusives announced till the end of this year, of which I am interested only in two. My Switch 1 backlog is still too large, so I will wait and follow what exclusives (specially 1st party) Nintendo will announce.
Still think that some of the listed games don’t run as well on PS4 as the players would like. The “leaks” said that the Switch successor would have the power of the PS4 so lets see how optimized those games will be. That being said, of this list I would 100% take Monster Hunter Wilds.

Got the DLC for Fire Emblem Warriors (orig) and trying to 100% it (it’s a grind but fun since I love musou games).

Started Warriors Orochi 4 on the Switch. I am a huge Musou games fan so I am enjoying it so far (first of the series I am playing).
