Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Brings Life to the 3DS With New Models

daniruy

I have an ambassador-american 3DS and an european 3DSXL. I'm seriously thinking in sell them both and get this new one - if I could NOT have region locking this time that would be even better... But I dream too much, I'm afraid.

The smaller model is more attractive to me though. I like the XL, but it feels less portable than the original 3DS...

While we wait for Metroid (and Ghost Song -which seems amazing), this is the better option we have nowadays. I love it.

Re: Poll: Which Is The Best Legend Of Zelda Game?

daniruy

I hesitated between Ocarina of Time N64 and Ocarina of Time 3DS. The reason is that the 3DS version is so good and polished, and has that Master Quest as well, that I consider it better than the original.

But this one could not exist without my beloved N64 version. That's why I voted in the original.

Re: Nintendo 64 Titles Heading to the Wii U Virtual Console

daniruy

I would gladly accept Super Mario 64 in every incarnation of the game, because it is awesome - even the DS version, which isn't so good and has good (but not awesome) controls. I would be happy in playing this beauty in my GamePad.

That said, I would like to see:

  • Jet Force Gemini (I think it's rare, so forget it).
  • Perfect Dark (forget it as well)
  • Goldeneye 007 (again)
  • Conker's Bad Fur Day (...)
  • Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie (...)
  • Diddy Kong Racing (...)
  • Blast Corps (...)

(Rare was TRULY important for me, I'm realizing...)

Re: Wii Owners Are Upgrading To PlayStation 4, Claims Sony

daniruy

I have a explanation. With the Wii Nintendo wanted to turn everyone in gamers. They succeed. Now there is a young gamer who is listening of all kinds of things about "more powerful", "next-gen", "impressive graphics", and on the other hand, a confusing WiiU initial marketing. So they think: "Ok, I already have a Wii, but since Nintendo is releasing a peripheral I am going to buy a PS4.

I imagine how many people followed this kind of reasoning.

Re: E3 2014: Reggie Fils-Aime Reaffirms Nintendo's Commitment to the GamePad

daniruy

A good use for the GamePad: in the next Zelda Open World, would be totally handy to scribble on the map, as seem in Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass. And the drawings that can teleport you from one point to another. The concept is there!

A new Okami would be amazing in this thing.

And we could use a upgraded version of ZombiU scanner in a new Metroid...

Well, a boy can dream...

Re: Feature: Our Hopes and Dreams for E3 2014

daniruy

I begin the E3 hype disappointed because I know Nintendo won't give me everything I want (Star Fox, Metroid, online F-Zero, Kid Icarus, a FPS li,e Goldeneye, Mario Galaxy HD and 3). But I keep my mind open.

Now I'm happy just because those indie titles are awesome and Mega Man X3 is finally coming. But there is huge room for more, Nintendo, c'mon!

Re: Download Sales On Nintendo Formats Have Trebled In The Last Two Years

daniruy

I believe that I would go entirily digital if I had the warranty that if I lose my system I would be able to download my library and save files all over again. Otherwise, still physical.

The future would be perfect with that and no region lock (even though with the first one nobody'd care with the second one, I believe)

Re: Feature: Looking at the 3DS Revolution on its Third Birthday

I bought this little marvel in June 2011, with my friend Felipe, back in Brazil. I got the cosm black and he got the aqua blue. Today I live in Ireland with my 3DS, which became the symbol of our intercontinental friendship - though I feel really uncomfortable with the region lock policy.

But this videogame is so amazing that I can't help muself... I love it!
