Re: Nintendo Indie World Showcase To Air Tomorrow, 14th April

Really hyped for this. Nowadays I seem to spend most of my time playing indie games. What I want more than anything out of tomorrow is more info and a date for Sports Story. Other than that, I just want new games and surprises - it's the most creative area in gaming just now so I never tend to be disappointed by the Indie Worlds.

Yes, couldn't resist the price and the trailer looked great. Now I've read this review, I can't wait to get into it. I just need to stop playing Let's Go and Smash first...

@Pokefanmum82 Nice to hear a positive comment! I'm glad that you liked the Direct. I'm not a Pokemon fan so this Direct wasn't too interesting for me. I think people are totally over-reacting in a negative way to this Direct though. How many games do you want in the Switch's first year? The mainline Pokemon game will come to the Switch - just not in the same year as Zelda and Mario!

Re: Editorial: The 3D Effect - A Smart 3DS Feature That Struggled to Find Its True Depth

I love 3d, especially on the new 3ds. I always play with the 3d full up. It's probably my favourite ever graphical technique which is what it really is at heart to me. Sure the 3d depth can sometimes add to the gameplay but it just looks so beautiful! It always makes me feel that I'm holding a little diorama in my hands which increases my immersion in games considerably. I'm playing Steamworld Heist at the moment and even thought it's a 2d game, the 3d depth just makes it look amazing. I think that Luigi's Mansion 2 is one of the most stunning games I've ever played. I will, as someone above said, use my 3ds til it dies! Then I'll just have to buy another one, at whatever cost!

Re: Editorial: The Nintendo Switch 'Power' Debate is Likely Missing the Point

Nice article Thomas. However much some people want the Switch to be a powerhouse of a console, I agree that it's other things that will make it a success commercially. I think it will be an experiential success as Nintento (for me) have never made a console that's not. I just admire their dedication to trying to come up with new forms of play and to encouraging people to engage in local multi-player. I think the absolutely key factors will be price point, continuing the hype and interest that's currently around the console and battery life on the go.
