Mario Strikers: Battle League was one of the most pleasant surprise announcements of the year so far, with the latest from developer Next Level Games arriving on June 10th.
If you're based in the UK, pre-orders of the game directly from My Nintendo Store will bag you a lovely, cosy scarf; so next time you're at a real-life football match, you can be safe in the knowledge that supporters of both teams will marvel at your exquisite fashion taste. If you've already pre-ordered the game, your order will be upgraded to include the scarf.
The game will cost £49.99 from My Nintendo Store (plenty more pre-order options are available here), but given some scarves can easily cost the same price - if not more - we'd say you're getting a pretty good deal here.

What scarves cost nearly the same price of the game? Scarves are under a tenner at football matches!

@Linnybhoy Let's hope for it. I quite enjoy ssbu pve. it provides me with enough pressure to keep me alert but not so much to make me unnecessarily uncomfortable - which tends to happen for pvp, where everyone tries to be the wife i never had nor wanted who raises a fleet of burning golem hell against me if ever i eat my can of beans without them.
@Olliemar28 that's a very poor explanation. You can pretty much use that for any item as an excuse, it doesn't really make it valid in context. The quality of the scarf is more akin to the ones sold by people outside stadiums for significantly less than £50, the ones you're claiming are "almost as expensive" are luxury items (either made with high-quality material, or brand-name products).

That's a nice scarf. I'm really curious how big it is though. Is it a mini scarf being the same size as the cartridge box as shown in the promo art or is it being scaled down?

Oh wow, that is unexpected. I think it would look significantly better without the game logo on both ends. Love myself a freebie which will probably cover half the cost of the game when I come to sell it.
I would prefer more news about this game. We still do not know much about the roster and haven't seen much gameplay either.
