Re: Free Joy-Con Drift Repairs Extended To Latin America

Geez people... Reading comprehension... They are reporting that all Latin American countries (where there is an official Nintendo distributor, I'd assume) are covered by this. They just mention that they got confirmation from a repair shop in Costa Rica. They are probably not going to contact shops in every single country for confirmation, right?

Re: Random: We Really Hope The New Nintendo Switch Looks Like This

How is this better than the real, current Switch? No detachable joycons, and that magnetic dock? How is the console outputting the video to it? Magnetically? If it's supposed to be wireless then please no... Everyone that has owned a Steam Link knows that streaming gameplay wirelessly even inside your home is a pain. And also, why? If you are physically putting the console on the dock why not just have a plug? You know, the way it's right now. It's cheaper, more reliable and it just works. And having the console just laying on a surface, screen up, is a terrible design for a dock. The current dock not only serves the purpose of connecting the console to the TV but also is a cradle that holds it and protects it.
Nice renders, but terrible product design and I didn't even touch the hardware specs...

Re: Warframe's Fortuna Expansion Arrives On Nintendo Switch Today For Free

@dystome Nah, the first couple of planets you can unlock in like 3-5 hours. Also, the grind is the game, in a good way. The game consists in playing missions to gather resources and blueprints to build better and cooler equipment and enhance your abilities. Yes, you can pay to fast forward some of that progress but in reality you are essentially paying for not playing the game. It still makes sense if you just want to have that particular frame or gun that looks really cool or to complete your fashionframe look.

Re: Review: Mega Man X Legacy Collection (Switch eShop)

@Razieluigi sure, I know they are not the same thing but my confusion came from seeing how the other review stated the emulation was bad and this one calls it "as close as you can get". The thing is this games should have NO slowdown at all if Capcom did their homework when porting whatever emulation solution they are using to the Switch. Specially considering the later games seem to run just fine.

I'm confused, I just read a comparison made by Ars Technica between all the platforms and they said that although they wanted to recommend the Switch version for the console being perfect for this games, they couldn't because the emulation of the SNES games was plagued by slowdowns. Apparently this doesn't happen in the PS2 era games so they think it comes from the emulation Capcom is using for the SNES games.

And here you say that "the emulation seems to be as close to the orirginlas as possible with no input lag".
