The only proof given was a quote that said "sources we consider reliable", whatever that means, not even specifying who gave the quote or why they should be trusted. What is even the point of this article?
When it comes to map rotation, I'm fine with this explanation. It's nice to always have one mode everyone's playing at once.
But the Salmon Run thing is fundamentally different. At least with Ranked Battle, you can play whenever you want. Cycling modes is one thing, but why would there ever be a good reason to say " you're not allowed to play this AT ALL in ANY way, shape, or form at this time"?
@AlexSora89 The winner of this tournament used Peach though and third place used Marth/Sheik. Fox may be slowly but surely taking over, but for now Melee still has several highly used characters besides Fox/Falco.
It's a sad day when Nintendo's current home console's only thing to offer for a 6-month period is a Paper Mario made by people that don't even understand what makes games fun, and ONE third party game.
@BigDaddysPizza She does look older. It actually reminds me of when we saw adult Ema Skye for the first time in Ace Attorney 4 because a decade or so had passed.
Just pointing out to anyone that missed it or didn't read the article that this is "un-modded SNES hardware"... he literally just played this on any old SNES and he could do it on yours. Amazing.
I think it's even harder to get into NES games than modern games because they can be so cryptic and hard to figure out. Modern games may have more buttons, but you usually learn controls one step at a time instead of being thrown in immediately with everything. If anything, they prioritize tutorials a bit too much (especially when they're unskippable ugh).
So they let people blacklist someone who leaves the game, but they still haven't added the feature to CHOOSE WHICH LEVEL YOU WANT?! They're literally telling us that we have to replay levels that we've ALREADY PLAYED or else people will blacklist us. Nintendo is the one that needs to be blacklisted.
Can a devoted fan of the series help me out with some info/opinions? I've never played any of them and I could get Millenium Girl, but I can just as easily get the original DS Etrian Odyssey (I buy old games all the time online, it wouldn't be a problem). Which one would you suggest? And can you give me a list of all the important differences and what you think should be factors in deciding? I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but it could mean the difference of whether or not I become a new fan of the series.
Why does Nintendo always give a game series its last chance by making a game that has nothing to do with why the series is good? It's like they WANT the series to die so they say "this is your last chance" and force them to make a generic platformer instead of an actual Chibi-Robo game. Same thing with Other M; it had nothing to do with exploration, and it "suprisingly" didn't do well critically (possibly commercially too, idk) so they just stop making Metroid games for 6 years... At least when they gave Fire Emblem its last chance with Awakening, they let Intelligent Systems do everything they could to do it right, and it turned out successful.
I thought the fact that Zelda had the Wind Waker meant that Toon Link wouldn't be in the game... so are they just not going to give him it? That doesn't seem right...

Re: Awesome Games Done Quick Day 2 - Including Pokémon Emerald, Melee, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and More
@AlexSora89 Where did you read 100% or full completion? It says Any% for Emerald, which is to just beat the game, and it says All Events for Melee.
Re: 3DS Nintendo Direct Confirmed for 1st September
I really hope they announce something instead of just talking about Pokemon and Mario Party.
Re: Video: Take a Closer Look at Koroks in Breath of the Wild
@Arlo Yeah, I was expecting this to just show off what they looked like or something, not flat-out give away where some of them are hidden.
