Re: Splatoon 2 Designer Explains Why The Maps Rotate And Salmon Run Is Time-Limited

When it comes to map rotation, I'm fine with this explanation. It's nice to always have one mode everyone's playing at once.

But the Salmon Run thing is fundamentally different. At least with Ranked Battle, you can play whenever you want. Cycling modes is one thing, but why would there ever be a good reason to say " you're not allowed to play this AT ALL in ANY way, shape, or form at this time"?

So they let people blacklist someone who leaves the game, but they still haven't added the feature to CHOOSE WHICH LEVEL YOU WANT?! They're literally telling us that we have to replay levels that we've ALREADY PLAYED or else people will blacklist us. Nintendo is the one that needs to be blacklisted.

Re: Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl is Currently a Bargain in North America

Can a devoted fan of the series help me out with some info/opinions? I've never played any of them and I could get Millenium Girl, but I can just as easily get the original DS Etrian Odyssey (I buy old games all the time online, it wouldn't be a problem). Which one would you suggest? And can you give me a list of all the important differences and what you think should be factors in deciding? I know I'm asking a lot of questions, but it could mean the difference of whether or not I become a new fan of the series.

Re: Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash Could Possibly be the Last Game in the Franchise

Why does Nintendo always give a game series its last chance by making a game that has nothing to do with why the series is good? It's like they WANT the series to die so they say "this is your last chance" and force them to make a generic platformer instead of an actual Chibi-Robo game. Same thing with Other M; it had nothing to do with exploration, and it "suprisingly" didn't do well critically (possibly commercially too, idk) so they just stop making Metroid games for 6 years... At least when they gave Fire Emblem its last chance with Awakening, they let Intelligent Systems do everything they could to do it right, and it turned out successful.
