Re: EA: Nintendo Needs to Drop Wii Price, Help Third Parties

You know, I've been pissed at EA ever since Madden 2010 came out. I've never played the series but when you release your cover with cartoon graphics opposed to real players on other consoles, you're pretty much pissing on wii. Shut up and be more like capcom or ubisoft who've been giving great games and receiving great profits without one complaint.

Re: Reggie Wonders Where Metroid: Other M Sales Went Wrong

It probably did bad because it's been a few years since we have seen a 2d style. In the past few years since the gamecube we have been accustomed to another 3d samus that is an alternative to this one. That and it had a good plot but it wasn't accustomed to a typical gamer who wants to be in a kill mode while playing.

Re: Fils-Aime: Nintendo's Biggest Current Threat is Apple

armoredghor

Well they're competing with apple because the apple does casual games and the PSP isn't a problem because it "is the bestselling handheld game system for 'serious' gamers". I have to laugh out loud everytime I hear that because they're so full of themselves that they can't even admit that they're losing or that they've STOLEN an idea.

Re: Mew Returns to Pokemon in HeartGold and SoulSilver

@supermarioman that can cause some problems too. a friend tried to get unlimited masterballs and thunderstones to trade online. It made me lose all the hm's which makes it a pain to spend a half hour every morning just to get from the post league region to the pal park. Now, I know why I hate hacks again.

Re: Rumour: Cell Chip Could Power Wii Successor

armoredghor

The thing of it is, they don't need to just reach the power of this generation but go all the way and be strong even for 7 years from now(considering a release in 2 years). I think the wii still has potential as a concept; most people don't like to go back to regular gaming after they've used motion control.

Re: Review: Wii Party (Wii)

This game looks awesome! like what party games should be and built ground up for the wii! Let's get ready for a new direction in the genre!@spcolo you can go back and edit

Re: Review: Thorium Wars (DSiWare)

armoredghor

I'd give it a 6.5 tops. one shot does more damage than a health kit restores, I'm never impressed by graphics on a handheld, half of the enemies are buzzing around your head and level 4 has mines that are dang near impossible to see. It does not fare well.

Re: Sakamoto Wants to Know Your Metroid: Other M Thoughts

armoredghor

Well, I thought the acting was fine and so was the plot. But this was a throwback game, we don't need another retro game. ironically we need another retro studios game. If they're moving on then just keep to their formula add this style of cutscenes, optional third person, and a decent multiplayer. @30 (It's where not were)

@Phoenix Aran Who is Jenna?
@Jesus Saves I understand the difference in depth but I'd imagine that most those combos are discovered by trial and error or luck.
@Link-Hero Pichu is the one character I miss in brawl because he/she/it can attack and kill just about anyone at 80%. In Brawl, I've heard that Sonic has banned from most every tournament because "he is too overpowered". That being said I still prefer Brawl.

Re: Retail Rumour Pegs 3DS for April Launch Across America

armoredghor

Even if we choose to believe these people, it could've just been suspicions from a conversation about production levels. Besides many are assuming that America will get it's consoles months later but we actually got the wii first. That's not the case with DSi or XL but it gives perspective.

Re: Review: Crystal Monsters (DSiWare)

Forgive me loyalists
@waltzelf the circle timing is meant to do critical hits if you hit it directly in the center, charm is relative, and nintendo has used the plot of an evil team/ 8 badges/elite 4 for the last 4 generations

Re: High Court Outlaws Flash Carts in UK

Sticking to the horrible cliche of the gun example. Guns aren't really a problem here in America (sort of). If they were only used for bank heists and murder and couldn't not be used as a preventative measure we would be in a similar situation of outlawment(if that's a word). It would take years and decades for nintendo to track down the hacker and Rom sites. This is the easiest way to work this out.
