I could see retro building a starfox game because when they presented futuristic graphics on a Nintendo console, it built a lot of buzz. People still wanted a metroid sequel to salvage the bad press from other M and kinda wish that samus was somehow involved as well. wishful thinking.
yes, have them give away one of their number one selling points and while we're at it, all iDevice upgrades should be free. It ain't gonna happen, so shut up!
I think it's necessary to have the extra power in order to get the support of 3rd party games. The console has had a long strong run but it needs the support of other developers to make it a central system, otherwise players feel the need to own a 360 or PS3 just to play big name 3rd party games. However, I do believe Nintendo can make great games without the extra processor but please give mario a break if you want to prove the console has graphical power.
Some of you guys that remember the 80's-Was it generally a nationwide standard release date in the 80s? Maybe it wasn't standard which could lead to the controversy.
It improved the immersion but they never said it improved fitness. Even wii fit isn't supposed to. If you actually get into the first one, it starts off talking about posture and how to fix it. That's all it's supposed to do.
Very well done. I could follow that pace until about level 18. following it and doing it are two different things though. My hat's off to you my friend.
@LordTendoboy the difference is that those aren't as high quality as new and will not last as long whereas in this case you get the same experience ( depending on the disc)
@zapdinos the difference is that they're trying to protect the four years of investment that they put into their product. They are trying to make sure that a place like gamestop doesn't keep making profit from their product without seeing a cent. It didn't cost much to build the discs but it did cost a many millions of dollars to build this product and they would like to see a little cash for it. I understand that $10 adds up overtime but considering the platforms its offered on now, don't be upset if it now costs half the original price instead of a third.
I don't think it matters whether it's developer designed or an utter glitch; as long as its not massive. I haven't actually seen the glitch everyone is talking about but it reminds me of the shortcut on wario stadium in mario kart 64 - a 20 second lap. There was also a glitch ( I heard it was a glitch) in mario kart double dash! for the gamecube that let you dodge red shells if you released a miniboost from a turn at the right time- a 3-5 second glitch. As long as it's low reward, who cares. These massive shortcuts though destroy it for the rest of the players.
I'm guessing it's gonna cost somewhere between $350 - $400 with tablets costing about $80-$100 and most likely only needing one extra to begin with. If they're smart, they'll save 8 player WiiU-only (not supporting 3DS connectivity) games until at least a year into it's life.
Aweome stories guys. My favorite gaming christmas was in 1999 when I got pokemon Red with brand new gameboy color. that was the first system of my own. gonna go celebrate the reason for the season.
A game targeted at the youth is ideally sold in the holiday season. For college students and citizens facing economic hardships, their games should be sold throughout the year to help sales. Ultimately, it seems that this is the current plan in place.
@theblackdragon while that argument works(in your first post) if there hadn't been a change in their opinion of sales results. They thought there wasn't enough interest in America and were going to watch Europe, which resulted in this.
I wish they would've at least held their prices until the two mario games came out... I really want to know if it was the outrageous price drop or the great titles. it's really sad.
@109 Well in that case Sony has been desperate for over 10 years with their playstation series, Apple has been desparate for nearly 10 years without even renaming their iPod iterations (besides the touch), the xbox 360 was an act of desparation with only adding a number to the end and the whole 3D trend was an act of desparation due to low HD sales. Take your own advice and don't try to offend people.
It's a very beautifully built game based on a cross-over. I kinda wish the second one would've used the time management mechanic. I lost the game on the first play through but it's still fun to play.
It's probably an overhauled menu or something universal for players. Either that or it's horrible news. hopefully they're maintaining their fanbase. btw that's at 4am us pacific
These are including the people that just want to make a very cheap app; which is easy on iOS, facebook, & android. Xbox and Nintendo shoot a little higher.
Looks pretty good. The mini games look well developed and taking probably the best of a few of the "wii" games. The lighting and water look very advanced for the wii.

Four game modes – survival, stages and extreme survival will test even the most experience players
anybody else see a problem with that?
Re: Feature: The Wonder of Ugly Add-Ons
lol all the captions were hilarious. I don't think you can make a portable add-on look pretty, especially if it's supposed to be a clamshell design.
Re: Review: 3DS Circle Pad Pro

@1 nobody said you have to get it.
