DQ VII was the third in the series I played, and the first one I actually beat (I played it on 3DS). It's one of my favourite games ever, and I really look forward on this remake. The announcement was so random, given the current state on the franchise, but I'm here for it
I always felt it didn't deserve the treatment it got, but now that I've been playing it, I can say that Code Name S.T.E.A.M. is one of the most underrated games ever, and probably the most underrated Nintendo game in general. I'm very sad that Intelligent System tried to experiment, creating the most interesting Nintendo IP in recent history IMO, but the reception was very poor. My only hope is a Switch 2 port some day, but the chances here are veeeery low
I wonder, what if Switch games that have a gyro pointer will automatically work with mouse mode? They're basically the same thing, I guess if it's not automatic it will be at least very easy to implement with a patch, also because they always have a button used to recenter the cursor, which will be useless (or even bad) with a mouse
I don't like the way this article is worded, I know her for like 2/3 songs (escapism. in particular) but I can tell she has a lot of talent and deserves the success she's finally having, she's actually an independent artist (since no label wanted to publish her album) and leans a lot into jazz, it's not typical pop star stuff. Also someone said she actually really likes Nintendo, so why not having her for a spot!
I bought the physical version (which actually only contains the download code) the other day, despite the fact I don't like football at all... FOMO is totally wrecking me with the eShop closure 🫠Guess I wanted to save a download code before it becomes useless
@JohnnyMind Yes, and I put it in the package, so I wasn't initially sure if I had to pay or not, but I haven't received a word from them other than for the mailing stuff, so you can repair yours with no fear (but these hall joysticks are in any case preferable since they should resolve the problem once and for all)
@JohnnyMind that's the opposite of my experience; I'm also in Italy and I got them to repair mine for free in December for the second time since I have the Switch, which I got in 2018, so I'm sure they repair them for free, unless it's a 50/50 chance

@LexKitteh I saw on Nintendo's website that they also put it on the N64 app, along with rewind. Only on Switch 2 though

This was the perfect opportunity to have a vertical mode and touch controls, but it doesn't seem to be the case
