Wii U all the way! It's the only console with games worth playing. Most others arrive on PC sooner or later, and the other two can be bought at cut price in 5 years or so (probably xbox one for me, though).
@Legromancer @Captain_Toad Actually sorry for being so hostile it's just that some of the articles on this site are questionable as to their need to exist, click-bait etc. I think it must be a very slow news day, they should just put something like this in some weekly news round up or something
@Captain_Toad @Legromancer No, it's only newsworthy when the game has something that defines it, not an inbuilt music player. And I am not your 'buddy'.
Are you all as blind as you are fanatical? The 3DS has this built-in functionality already! This page is not worth the data it loads from. It's just a standard feature all games should have.
Shut up, keyboard warriors! I agree with them. People can say what they like! So don't go on about 'free reign of employees'! This article is just click-bait, and you fishes have bitten!
She's been sexualised from the first game. Did we really need this article to tell us that? I suppose it isn't as sexualised as other games, but it's still there, which is negative. On the other hand, she is the hero, not some pathetic damsel in distress, though. But I always hate the end where she pops up in a bikini. I didn't think it was necessary. It's not as if Mario takes off his dungarees every time he rescues Peach, so yes, she is badly depicted.
You lot of smug keyboard warriors have nothing good to say about homebrew, but don't slam it because you're defending your beloved Nintendo. The restrictions on our systems are really, well, excessively restrictive. Now I do not support piracy, but the region lock is ridiculous, and only serves to make Nintendo extra cash (as if they don't have enough of that). This tool gives us options. Options. And that is no bad thing. Some people want to play Japanese games without importing an expensive Japanese 3ds.
@SanderEvers It's a matter of opinion, but I thought the cel-shading went a bit odd though, not in a bad way but there was definitely a difference. It's still fun to play but I never actually wanted it in the first place, seeing as it has aged the best of the older titles (at least in terms of art style). And it could have been so much more: adding in the two planned and coded dungeons not included due to original time constraints for example... Perhaps we'll see an eshop remake of FSA, the most under-appreciated of the games ... Now that is needed.
I bought this game when it was on sale, I like how it is good for short playthroughs and some of the puzzles are actually mysterious, fun and challenging! It's great the devs are taking care to make it even better!
OoT should not have won. It was not as good as people say, and I think this vote was blinded by nostalgia. It is flawed in many parts, such as the water temple and I think many of the dungeons were bog-standard fire/water/forest dungeons. I know I do not share many people's views. This poll was just click-bait anyway. We all knew what would come first: OoT. The poll should have been based on specific qualities, such as best dungeons, characters etc. And OoT, in my opinion does not have those.
@bboy2970 Why would you keep them sealed? They're for playing on and you'll never make back as much money as you probably spent on them, even if one or two go up in value in 10 years.
@Einherjar I'd rather argue no more. I betrayed my normally calm demeanor. I accept your points. I think this has got a little out of hand. Enough said?
@Einherjar All I want is a few SNES games on 3ds. And a proportion of the wii vc games (if possible depending on copyright) on the wii u. I think you will agree with me on that point. It would be nice, but it won't happen. This argument is ridiculous anyway. We've said enough. I think you will agree. Please don't send me another block of text.
@WaveBoy
You mean the crap ones. Most of the NES games on vc are obscure and are showing their age. Just a few GC games or n64 games would be appreciated...
@Einherjar Don't talk condescendingly. We're all friends here... ... You know, I do in fact agree with you. However, you're missing my point. The 3DS can emulate SNES games. It's all down to skill. Granted, emulation can get rather tricky, frustratingly so, (which I found out when I attempted to emulate a 1970s desktop calculator in C#). However, it can be done. Nintendo should be bringing these games to systems, and would reap the benefits in the form of nostalgia-fuelled buying frenzies. Anyway, it could easily be tackled by a team of just a few programmers (they employ many hundreds) or they could cheaply outsource it. And it would teach them a thing or two about listening to customers.
@AG2014 That's ludicrous. Modern computers have something called anti-aliasing. To show how simple it is, i will post some pseudo code for it:
Define function PlotAntiAliasedPoint ( number x , number y ) For roundedx = floor ( x ) to ceil ( x ) do For roundedy = floor ( y ) to ceil ( y ) do percent_x = abs ( x - roundedx ) percent_y = abs ( y - roundedy ) percent = percent_x * percent_y DrawPixel ( coordinates roundedx, roundedy , color percent (range 0-1) )
Resolution is not a problem. Nintendo's decisions are.
@Einherjar Of course it is... It's down to programming skill, not hardware. That's just Nintendo's poor, feeble and inexplicable excuse for not releasing these games.
@Dazza Excuse me? There is no problem regarding the emulation. Nintendo's code-monkeys already wrote a working emulator for the wii, so there should be no problem emulating on any of their systems. If anything, it is easier for Nintendo to write an emulator because they know the most about their own processor specifications. Emulation is simply interpreting machine instructions, and is not as difficult as you imply.
@AG2014 What? The NES? We've played those so many times they're frankly stale. Gba should never have been on wii u, without at least being on an actual handheld console first.
Really, the WiiU eshop is not bad! Look at Steam, for crying out loud! Every day, games are released. Mobile ports, and 90s games (not even good ones) add to the glut. The Wii and DS libraries were far worse, film tie-in crap... While I'll admit that The Letter was total crap, you've got to take the rough with the smooth, and opening up development is an amazing idea. So calm down. Be thankful that at least the 90s games are fun on WiiU...
@PvtOttobot @Dark-Luigi @midnafanboy @Spoony_Tech @minotaurgamer You people really know how to put someone on the brink of fairyhood down. I'll say my words to forget all about you, and they're Tingle's, so don't steal them: Tingle, Tingle, kooloo limpah!

Not 64!! Galaxy is the greatest. But 64 will win out of your fanatical obsession with nostalgia, just as OoT won that Zelda poll.
