Working title: Hotboxing

Picked up Star Wars Pinball (works out about a quid per table) loving it so far.

For an authentic "up close and personal" arcade experience, especially with the Sega Ages collection, play them through your PSVR headset (yes, you can use it with your Switch, though will still be a 2D image, not VR) and headphones.

This caused me a lot of issues - My Mayflash Magic-NS stopped working with Switch (but worked perfectly with PC) so sent the Switch Dock off for repair. Came back saying it was fine, so bought another Magic-NS. That also didn't work, so returned it and tried an 8BitDo adapter. Also didn't work so ended up shelling out for an 8BitDo SN30+ controller. The Magic-NS is now working again, so will be refunding the controller. A ball ache but glad it's finally sorted!

@sixrings If you think the pricing of the Resident Evil games represents good value on Switch, by all means show your support by purchasing them. I do not, and therefore have not, and - at those prices - certainly will not.

Intrigued by Fantasy Strike - sounds more tactical than technical - anyone played it?

A word of caution: The Switch version doesn't have ranked 1v1 (apparently because Ninty's online infrastructure not being able to support it.) This has ruffled feathers with some players.

Also, there are noticeable performance drops from 60fps to 30fps in both docked and in handheld. This is being looked at in a future patch, but worth noting before you commit to purchase.

If this released a year or two ago, I would have snapped it up. We have an embarrassment of shmup riches on Switch, so this is a pass.

Enjoying this so far. However the button mappings are in the wrong place and don't match those described in the Options page (E.g. Under Options, button "A" should be auto fire, but it's set to "Y".) Looks like a bug - anyone else experiencing that?
