@Grumblevolcano you get it after beating Roark who is the 1st Gym Leader. After that you can return to Jubilife and talk to the ILCA director on the 3rd floor of the TV Studio and choose the dialog needed to unlock it
@Gahoole might actually look up Japanese law. Considering Nintendo is a Japanese company then that is the law you actually follow. Actually think before you reply
@LawlBoi lmao imagine a complete idiot insulting others intelligence and using y'all, i, etc. Stay salty but a lot of the community agree that SwSh was a mess. Now stop sucking game freak like a push pop and actually educate yourself
@johnvboy the games are fine? So recycled assets, poor animations etc are fine? The FPS drops, online multiplayer, trading system etc are all awful as well. Nintendo needs to drop Gamefreak as the developers and give the series to someone who knows how to program a game and build a complete story. They have more control over the IP then Gamefreak does due to the Pokemon Trademarks being owned by Nintendo themselves. The others also own the copyright but Nintendo has more authority
@johnvboy what common sense? The Pokémon Company International, a subsidiary of The Pokémon Company in Japan, manages the property outside of Asia and is responsible for brand management, licensing, marketing, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, the animated TV series, home entertainment, and the official Pokémon website.
Does it list Video Games as something TPC manages? The answer is no. TPC is owned by Nintendo, Gamefreak and Creatures. The main line games are made by Game Freak so the blame falls on them. They should have worked on making SwSh a better game instead of focusing on trash like Little town hero
@HydroTendonMan The Pokémon Company International, a subsidiary of The Pokémon Company in Japan, manages the property outside of Asia and is responsible for brand management, licensing, marketing, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, the animated TV series, home entertainment, and the official Pokémon website.
They have nothing to do with the mainline games and TPC is a company that Nintendo, Gamefreak and Creatures all 3 own 32% each in. Gamefreak is to blame on this since they wasted their time making Little Town Hero over making sure Pokemon SwSh had some serious upgrades
@Pod prime 4 was announced to be under development. Then Nintendo decided they had to start all over with another developer because it wasn't up to standard. That was a couple months ago.
@TheBlue10 They had the patreon set up to keep the servers for the Mario game up. That is profit right there. They should have been using their own money to do so not others. Capcom doesn't make many Megaman games and they aren't as big of an IP like Mario is
@TheBlue10 they had ads placed on the site that you go to to play the game and they were asking for donations to help maintain the game servers. That isnt a non profit use of the IP
@Tsu They were making money off of the IP regardless by using a website to advertise it. All of their ads were paying for that website and anything else they wanted to use the money for. Not to mention they were using copyrighted assets, characters and concepts. They should have named the tool something else and used fanmade mons
People fail to understand that Nintendo has to do this to keep the copyright to their IPs since Japanese law is different compared to the laws overseas
@Knuckles-Fajita Nintendo, Gamefreak and Creatures Inc all own a equal portion of The Pokemon Company. (Nintendo also owns majpr shares of Creatures meaning they effectively own their 33% since Iwata helped them with funds)
@TeslaChippie Nintendo is one of the 3 copyright owners. Nintendo, GameFreak and Creatures Inc created the Pokemon Company and all own 33% of the company. (Nintendo also owns part of Creatures since they helped fund it) They also own the trademarks to all of the Pokemon names
@redivgamer90 Nintendo owns the most of the Pokemon IP. They own the Trademark to it themselves, they have 33% of the copyright as well sharing it evenly with Gamefreak and Creatures as well as all three of them being the parent company of The Pokemon Company who just managed and distributes the games and TV Shows
@CrazedCavalier you are wrong on TPC owning Pokemon. All they do is manage the IP. It was created as a joint venture between the Copyright owners Nintendo, Gamefreak and Creatures Inc. with each of them owning 33% of the Copyright. However Nintendo owns the Trademark of Pokemon and all of its creatures names on its own. Nintendo completely owns the rights to the games
@Boerewors Nintendo owns 33% of The Pokemon Company alongside both Gamefreak and Creatures as they are all founding members of TPC. Nintendo also owns a majority stake in Creatures as well plus they own the trademarks to all pokemon names etc. As well as having some stakes in Niantic
@Raien Monster Hunter 4 being made by a 3rd party but Xenoblade Chronicles is made by a studio Nintendo fully owns so it's a 1st party game. 2nd party is a company that makes games because they are partially owned by the Publisher or have a contract. Camelot Software Planning is a 2nd party developer and HAL Laboratory is one as well for Nintendo. Game Freak could be considered one for Pokemon

Underhero is a really great game. I'd recommend people buy it. Played it after Bug Fables and kept me interested

Re: Sony And RTS Jointly Acquire Fighting Game Tournament EVO, Nintendo Responds
@Zimon yet it used illegal mods. You don't actually own the right to modify a game you bought. Might want to look at actual copyright laws
Re: Feature: 6 Huge Video Game Franchises Missing From Nintendo Switch
@Doktor-Mandrake every one of these could run on the Switch. Smdh at the idiocy of the current gen games
Re: Random: Amazon's Luna Controller Sure Does Look Familiar
@Tim_Vreeland funny how the Switch Pro is like the Wii U pro controller and guess which came first
Re: Random: Amazon's Luna Controller Sure Does Look Familiar
@Snatcher and xbox ripped off gamecube so moot point

Re: Astral Chain Director Says Nintendo Switch Exclusive "Sold Above Expectations"
@LUIGITORNADO Nintendo owns the IP so it won't be on any other platform. That's why they said to ask Nintendo if you want it on another console.
Re: Super Mario Battle Royale Game Receives Takedown Notice From Nintendo
@TheBlue10 again it isn't the same. And who's to say they have or haven't had issues with their licenses?

@JohnnyC it wont be called God of War 2 btw as that title already exists on the PS2. They will probably add a subtitle to it
Re: Super Mario Battle Royale Game Receives Takedown Notice From Nintendo
@LilligantLover they were running a patreon asking for money to run the servers for the game they made. That isnt non profit at all

@Noid You know that Nintendo has a team looking for this stuff already. They probably found it before these sites had an article about it
Re: Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee Won't Include Pro Controller Support
@Knuckles-Fajita Nintendo owns part of TPCi so really they publish it 2 times
Re: Nintendo Enforces Takedown Of Fan-Made Game Creator Pokémon Essentials
@MrVariant I really don't care if they charge money for it. It will help them update their servers etc when their subscribers pay $20 (not 10)
Just because you don't want to pay for it won't stop others from doing so
