Since I saw the trailer, this game seemed a bit soul less to me too. I was still considering it, till now, thanks for the good review Sean.

Not a surprise, after watching its video on the NC last night (and almost fell asleep ), I could tell this game would get a low score, is very lackluster. Also, this racer seems a bit too generic for me, but then again so are GT, NFS and Forza, so I'm sure it'll have an audience.

Great update again! Blaster Master looks so awesome that I may not be able to wait till next week to get it; already have EWJ2 for my SNES, but is good to see it on VC. Wiiware looks good, I'm interested in Moki Moki and maybe the Rubik game, but I'll wait for the reviews.
I really hope we get SSB64 next week, it would make an awesome Xmas present for my Best friend .

I may give this a try someday, a simple but fun platformer, sounds relaxing, as the review says, a perfect time waster for a sunday afternoon.

Nice huge update. I'm glad the two VC regime continues, Shinobi looks good, shame I tried Shinobi III and is not my cup of tea; already have the PS1 SFA2.
I had been waiting for Magnetis, I may get it soon, if nothing better comes out. I'd love to consider more DLs, but I'm poor and DSiless .

Not an spectacular week, but nice numbers again; and still 2 VC, so no complaints here. I'll save my last wiipoints for December 23's update, I have a good feeling about that one, why could that be? .

Huge update! , I thought that SMK was gonna be the only VC game today, I'm glad they kept the 2 VC formula.

I'm getting nothing of these for now, but YAY! for SMK (got the cartridge), Void (eagerly expecting the review), and the Electroplanctons (Darn I need a DSi).

Wow O.O over 100 posts! I wonder if the update itself will get as many.

Anyway, I'm happy for everyone whose been waiting for MK , also SSB YAY! my best friend is gonna be very happy, and the whiners will need a change of game soon, thank god, it was getting boring.
And Pilotwings, is a good game, I'll get it someday, out of pure nostalgia.

Nice update, that Indy game sounds neat, also I like Demos so I'm very happy today, already tried Pokemon Rumble and NyxQuest. That Pokemon game is addictive, and I actually like the pokemon toys, at least now they specified they're toys , still, the price is a bit high, so I'll wait for a full review.

Well, I made up my mind, not getting this, I'm with Mickeymac and Adam. If it's online play is the replay feature, it has nothing for me, and is too similar to the original, which I never liked.

Thanks for clarifying, for a moment I though there were something wrong with my controller. Still, I'm a bit disappointed , really, I don't like to use this vertical possition; but whatever the game is still great.

Great review Sean! I too liked this game precisely for being so similar to the arcade , but the 4 levels feel fresh, and are good and challenging.

I don't like to use the Wiimote vertically though, how do you manage to use the classic controler? I've tried to play with it, but the game never recognises it.

As soon as I got home, I went to the Shop channel, really felt like downloading something new today, after recieving some wii points yesterday .
Never liked Excitebike, still waiting for the review, but not a likely DL; Dragon Masters seem good, but I'm not interested; finally Frogger Returns, since I've always love this game, this was my pick (didn't care about the one new VC game; and I already have Dragon's Curse), I liked it, not as good as the first PS1 version, which is my favorite Frogger, but for $5 is OK, very arcadey.

Electroplankton on DSiware , man I'm wanting a DSi so badly right now!

Some people doesn't get to know if they already have some kind of photo shop on their computer, nor that you can actually use paint to retouch photos.

LOL I bet everybody is calling all games crap without even checking what they're about, but I understand, you're mad that the games you want didn't show up.

In fact this is a decent, nothing extraordinary but quantity, catch up week. Viking Invasion and Carnival King seem good, the VC games have its fans, and the only absolute crap I'm sure about is Sparkle Snapshots .
Actually, I've been looking for a decent horizontal shooter, since this R-type version is also cheap, it may be the one.

I think I'll skip DS games this christmas. Spirit Tracks ew I hate trains , well I'd buy it if I had the money, but I'm not ding for playing it.

I wish they'd sell it on Wiiware, at least in countries whithout a Club Nintendo .

Finally getting Lost Winds 2 is a treat! But I only have 1000points and wanted to save them for Cave Story, but who knows when that thing is coming! oh! what to do?

The shooter looks Ok for 500pts, the review will decide if I get it later on. I can see the arcade version Rygar has it's small fanbase, but I'll just wait for the NES version.

The guys are really good, but I know I can match some of those moves. What is great is that the game looks even better, and with good difficulty .

I just have 1000 points now, so this will have to wait after I get Cave Story .

Since downloadable games are a lot cheaper in here than retail, I was considering getting the PSPGo as my first PSP, at least when most of the PSP game library were online, and the price dropped a little, but, by what some people are mentioning, I understand you can still DL all its original games to an old PSP model??!! , if that's so I may prefer get a 2000 or 3000 in the future.

I'm not getting that game if its online has a monthly fee, to be honest online has never been that important for me, but it seems this game it's all about online, and I can't afford an extra monthly payment .

This is a good Wiiware/Dsiware update, even though there's nothing for me , Arkanoid is great, but I can play many flash block breaker games on my Wii browser for free; Drift Mania is focused on multiplayer, so not for me, but I wish I had a DSi, I like the DQ monsters and have them in a fun little game like DQW, would be nice.
The VC?, lets just say it could be better imo .

Awesome review. I really liked M&L;Partners in Time, so I've had this one on my radar for a while, and is as great as I expected ; also you read my mind Corbie, I can only get one game for the rest of the year and is gonna be this one .

Not a bad update, any kunio-kun game is welcomed, and Spaceball: Revolution looks great, but I'm saving my last points for Cave Story, which, hopefully, may come out on early october.

I don't believe in such things either, so what, it's free, and it's just for fun. There are people that love this stuff, why insulting them?, why to be angry for getting a FREE app you don't like?, don't get it, problem solved .

Honestly, except for the ice beam, I see not big difference, of course I have a very bad sight. By watching Firkraag's video (thank you for that ) all I can say is that the Wii version looks a bit sharper, but that's all, so that should be the NA GC version; whatever, I'll never get rid of my original copies, even if I ever get Trilogy.

The new Contra looks good too, but I'd prefer to get Contra 3, and Rebirth is a tad expensive imo.

The new number one in my "most expected" list, this looks great, I love Okami's art! And yes, it's just too cute.

Kendama would have been nice, and kendama is NOT "ball in a cup", is a very challenging toy in which you have to put the ball into 2 cups, then the base and also insert it in a stick at the top (the ball has a hole for this) I've always wanted a kendama , and in Mexico we play Balero, and is NOT "ball in a cup", is more like a "drum on a stick" .

Well, Contra is great, but the lack of VC is kinda sad.
If I had a DSi, I'd download that dictionary, you never know when you need to translate something from french, believe me, it has happened to me.

Alright! It looks fantastic. Now, I really hope this doesn't end up like CaveStory, and it actually comes out "soon".

I'm not falling again for it, I regret geting the first one so much (I should have bought Bomberman '93 instead of Blast!), and this looks like the same game, with a few new modes here and there, and maybe an online mode that works, as I see it just a waste of money.
