Star Fox Command actually sold well, despite it being a gimmicky, stylus-controlled Star Fox SNES. I hated it, but it sold well solely on the basis that it was a Star Fox game. Nintendo relies on fanbase, not just on great games.
The tablet thingy will act like a handheld, but will be interactive with the main system. The main system will display on the tablet, the TV, or both. This will make the Wii U able to be interactive even when you're not in the same room (a la cloud). It might even be connectible with the 3DS.
The fate of Rare is nothing compared to that of Sierra. They went from creating awesome adventure games to crappy games for other franchises. Thank god Telltale is rebooting King's Quest.
I don't believe that the games are supposed to have a connection to eachother aside from the direct sequels. Each Link is just the heir to the throne, not a reawakening or next coming.
Minish Cap- already beaten it, but I can always try for a 100% run. Kirby- I've already had two that sucked, but I hope this one isn't too bad. F-Zero- I hope this one's better than the first game. Fire Emblem- are you serious? That came out of nowhere. Wario Land 4- Oh, baby, yeah!
Ms. Pac-Man- the NES version, at least Sonic R- the arcade version would suffice, hopefully Virtua Fighter- the arcade version Donkey Kong- is it true that Nintendo doesn't own the hardware? Mario Bros.- come on, already!
This is currently NL's top rated game yet to be released onto the North American Virtual Console. I highly doubt it'll come any time soon, as we're going on three years without a C64 game.
Not that it bothers me all that much. I'm too young to remember the C64, and the graphics look far too primitive for my tastes.
This is going to be the first Sonic game? What about the first game? The second game? Chaos? Few people even remember Triple Trouble. Why bother with it?

Re: Yoshi's Story
This game is awesome! Why was it given a 4/10? It's only too easy if you don't know how it works.
I'd love to see this come to the 3DS.
Re: Nintendo May Not Call Wii U a Home Console
Here's what might be the case:

Stop technology, I want to get off.
Re: RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D Hits the Skids
Aw cwap!
Re: Nintendo Download: 16th February 2012 (North America)
Strider is a good replacement for TMNT.
Re: R-Type Being Removed from Virtual Console
At least you still have the Turbografx version.
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES Pulled from Virtual Console
We were all surprised that the game, being licensed, was even on the VC anyway.
Re: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES Pulled from Virtual Console
This is the second title pulled from the North American Virtual Console. Lovely.
Regardless, this is considered to be the worst of the TMNT games anyway.
Re: Features: The Game Gear Games We Need on 3DS Virtual Console
Columns
Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic Chaos
Sonic Spinball

Ecco the Dolphin
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (DS)
I sold it after getting Spirit Tracks. ST is fairer.
Re: Nintendo Download: 9th February 2012 (North America)
What do you want on the Wii VC so badly that you can't wait until Nintendo is done with its console madness?
Re: Ex-Rare Staff Talk Nintendo, Microsoft and Where It All Changed
What I want to see:
Diddy Kong Racing Wii (DKR DS remade for the Wii)
Donkey Kong 64 (it's 99% Nintendo)
Re: Ex-Rare Staff Talk Nintendo, Microsoft and Where It All Changed
The fate of Rare is nothing compared to that of Sierra. They went from creating awesome adventure games to crappy games for other franchises. Thank god Telltale is rebooting King's Quest.
Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd February 2012 (North America)
Nintendo seems to think that its only audience is kids.
Re: The Origins of the Konami Code Revealed
The problem with some games is that you have to enter it very quickly or else it'll go to the demo before you're done.
Re: Nintendo Download: 26th January 2012 (North America)
{waits until February to see if Kid Icarus comes out}
Re: Nintendo Download: 19th January 2012 (North America)
{waits unti Summer to get Columns on his 3DS}
Re: Nintendo Download: 12th January 2012 (North America)
Maybe I'll start getting the Carmen Sandiego games.
Re: Review: 3D Classics: Kid Icarus (3DSWare)
Sounds tight. I hope it comes to the US tomorrow.
Re: Nintendo Download: 5th January 2012 (Europe)
Kid Icarus is an ok game. I wonder if the remake will help.
Re: Happy New Year from Nintendo Life!
Here's what I'm anticipating for 2012:
Paper Mario 3D
Game Gear on 3DS
Re: Game of the Year: Nintendo Life Reader Awards 2011
I was hoping for Carmen Sandiego and Excite Bike. Everything else I voted for.
Re: Nintendo Download: 29th December 2011 (North America)
I wonder if I should start getting Carmen Sandiego again.

DS: Pokemon Black and White
WW: Carmen Sandiego
eShop: Excite Bike
DSi: Four Swords
Overall: Skyward Sword
Re: Review: Tetris (3DS Virtual Console / Game Boy)
All we need now is NES Tetris.
Re: There's a Myst Descending on 3DS Next Year
The game can be beaten in thirty seconds, but the idea is to complete the game. Myst is more like an interactive novel.
Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd December 2011 (North America)
Nintendo released it after everything else for some reason.
Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd December 2011 (North America)
What is so great about texting via 3DS? Use a phone.
Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd December 2011 (North America)
I already have Tetris Worlds on GBA, so I have no interest in the original.
Re: Rumour: Official Legend of Zelda Series Timeline Revealed
Let's just pretend that the games aren't supposed to have anything to do with one another aside from the direct sequels. Kay?

Re: Rumour: Official Legend of Zelda Series Timeline Revealed
The adult branch is bull. Link isn't even an adult in any of those games.
Re: Rumour: Official Legend of Zelda Series Timeline Revealed
I don't believe that the games are supposed to have a connection to eachother aside from the direct sequels. Each Link is just the heir to the throne, not a reawakening or next coming.
Re: Review: Metroid Fusion ( / Game Boy Advance)
It's kind of like Super Metroid. I'm liking it already.
Re: Nintendo Download: 22nd December 2011 (Europe)
Why don't we have Dr. Mario yet?
Re: Review: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap ( / Game Boy Advance)
The only Zelda game I have ever beaten.
Re: How to Avoid Skyward Sword's Game-Ending Glitch
Thanks for the warning. I'd probably do everything in linear order, anyway.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Year of Giving
So much has happened that I forget that the 3DS isn't even a year old yet. It's astounding.
Re: Register 2 3DS Games and You Could Win a Mario 3DS
I want Kid Icarus. I'm curious about it.
Re: 3DS Ambassador Game Boy Advance Games Revealed
Minish Cap- already beaten it, but I can always try for a 100% run.
Kirby- I've already had two that sucked, but I hope this one isn't too bad.
F-Zero- I hope this one's better than the first game.
Fire Emblem- are you serious? That came out of nowhere.
Wario Land 4- Oh, baby, yeah!
Re: Wario Land 4
Perhaps I'll wait until this is rereleased instead of getting Wario Land or its first two sequels.
Re: Reggie: Virtual Console on Wii Isn't Dead
They need more arcade games, or at least ports
Ms. Pac-Man- the NES version, at least
Sonic R- the arcade version would suffice, hopefully
Virtua Fighter- the arcade version
Donkey Kong- is it true that Nintendo doesn't own the hardware?
Mario Bros.- come on, already!

Re: Sonic Drift 2
My only problem with this game is not knowing where the heck you are. That, and not knowing when to turn.
Still, I might get this for nostlgia's sake.
Re: Columns
Will be one of my first Game Gear downloads.
Re: Japanese eShop Takes a Trip to Wario Land Next Week
We don't even have Dr. Mario yet and Japan's already getting another good game first?
Re: Super Street Fighter II with Online Coming Westward Too
Huh? I must've dozed off. The VC is still around? Whatever.
Re: Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3
It's a maybe, but I'm hoping for Wario Land II. I might want a color game instead.
Re: Feature: The Best Games on GameCube and Wii
Why all the hate for the Star Fox games?
