Bring on Donkey Kong! The NES version is too repetitive. If the arcade version comes out, I'm deleting my NES version and snatching the arcade version up!
I'll get it for the Wii, but I wonder if the DS version will be worth it. I've been a bit disappointed by Mario Kart DS and Diddy Kong Racing DS. They've given me cramped wrists.
Also, this will be my umpteenth racing game. Still, it's the only game worth buying for 2010 IMO.
@GooniesFan: Popeye and Moonwalker will take awhile to release, especially anything Michael Jackson. Pro Wrestling has a decent chance, but don't count on Michael Jackson any time soon.
@SuperDude: If they can get Super FX games, that'd be great. They can start with Yoshi's Island, since it almost failed to exploit the SFX's capability (save for the title screen).
Looks like a complete reverse for the WSC. North America starts getting big titles and exciting updates while Japan dwindles into mediocre releases. That'll show 'em.
Two VC games, huh? I'm proud of them. Now, if only they could give us more for Christmas. Please give us SSB so I have something to download with SBCG4AP ep 3.
I agree that Super Star is the best Kirby game ever made. After being incredibly disappointed with Squeak Squad, I sold it, but after awhile downloaded Kirby 64 as a second try. I liked it, and when I noticed the SNES Kirby was coming to DS, I picked it up and it is far superior to any other Kirby game I've ever played.
More Street Fighter? I always thought it was ridiculous that there were so many variants. Hyper Fighting, Turbo, Championship Edition, The New Challengers. Street Fighter II is Street Fighter II to me. I don't care what version.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo Arcade Games on Virtual Console?
Mario Bros. arcade is better?

Re: Nintendo Download: 1st February 2010 (North America)
If they can add Ecco & Columns, they'll be set for the SMS.
Re: Nintendo Download: 1st February 2010 (North America)
@D4NG3R: Is Cave Story actually worth begging so often for?
350th is probably not going to be a "milestone" in their opinion. We'll have to wait until 400.
Re: Pro Wrestling
The origin of the Brothers Strong.

Re: Nintendo Download: 25th January 2010 (North America)
Too bad I already have Uno on my ipod.
Re: Nintendo Download: 11 January 2010 (North America)
Week after week they release games I've never heard of. Then again, I'm pretty much set on my VC downloads unless my old systems break.
Re: Nintendo Download: 4 January 2010 (North America)
Boring. I suppose we won't get much until a "special occasion" comes. Maybe the Monday after the summer solstice we'll finally get Tubin'.
Re: Nintendo Download: 28 December 2009 (North America)
I'd get Oregon Trail if it had come to WiiWare, but a portable version doesn't seem right. Otherwise, nothing all that interesting.
Re: Nintendo Download: 21 December 2009 (North America)
SSB is hard compared to Melee and Brawl. Luigi is the hardest to unlock! It took me a few tries just to unlock Jigglypuff! It's definitely worth it.
Re: Nintendo Download: 22, 24 December 2009 (Japan)
I love othello (aka reversi).
Re: Virtual Console Blaster Master To Spearhead Sunsoft Revival
Maybe we can get some superheroes, Looney Tunes, and Lemmings?
Of course, they've already omitted Spider-Man and Batman from one game.

Re: Nintendo Download: Rayman, Notebooks, Stress Busting and Ninjas! (US)
PREDICTIONS
12/14- Pilotwings, Blaster Master
12/21- Super Smash Bros., Ninja Gaiden, Sonic & Knuckles, Space Invaders
12/28- Shadow Dancer, Return of Ishtar
Re: Nintendo Download: Rayman, Notebooks, Stress Busting and Ninjas! (US)
@SuperDude: If they can get Super FX games, that'd be great. They can start with Yoshi's Island, since it almost failed to exploit the SFX's capability (save for the title screen).
Re: Nintendo Download: Rayman, Notebooks, Stress Busting and Ninjas! (US)
What a coincidence that SFA2 was released shortly after I discovered its page on IGN. Have they run out of Street Fighter games yet?
Re: Nintendo Download: 8-9 December 2009 (Japan)
And when, exactly, will we be getting UNO?
Re: Nintendo Download: Monkey Island, Zoos, 'Copters, Face Stealing and Puzzles! (US)
That's great. Maybe I'll try it for a change of pace. World of Goo also sounds fantastic.
Re: Nintendo Download: Monkey Island, Zoos, 'Copters, Face Stealing and Puzzles! (US)
Is Monkey Island any good?
Re: Nintendo Download: 1-2 December 2009 (Japan)
Looks like a complete reverse for the WSC. North America starts getting big titles and exciting updates while Japan dwindles into mediocre releases. That'll show 'em.
Re: Nintendo Download: Karts, Blobs, Bits, Shops, Tournaments, PooYoos, Castles, Notebooks and More Plankton (US)
I already have my original cartridge, so I have no need to get SMK right now (especially since I got a new A/V cable last weekend!).
Re: Nintendo Download: Karts, Blobs, Bits, Shops, Tournaments, PooYoos, Castles, Notebooks and More Plankton (US)
Nice update. What's the purpose of Electroplankton anyway?
Now all that's left for NOA to catch up is SSB and S&K.
Once they release S&K, unless they somehow release Sonic CD, I couldn't care less what they release Genesis-wise.
Re: Nintendo Blocking Third Party Releases On Virtual Console?
Nintendo release what they can, and what they release is available indefinitely. Be happy.
Re: Super Mario Kart Hits Virtual Console on Monday
Don't forget that IGN says that Sonic & Knuckles will come out this year.
I already have it on my SNES, so I just need to order a new A/V cable
@megaboomface2: The original is a classic. Get it. You won't regret it.
Re: Nintendo Download: Pokémon, Whips, Fighters, Bowling Balls, Robots, Intersections and Demos (US)
I didn't like Temple of Doom, and Raiders was ok. Basically, I'm not a fan of Indy. The video also made it look like any other platformer.
Re: Nintendo Download: Pokémon, Whips, Fighters, Bowling Balls, Robots, Intersections and Demos (US)
I think I'll pass on Indiana Jones
Re: Nintendo Download: Pokémon, Whips, Fighters, Bowling Balls, Robots, Intersections and Demos (US)
Indiana Jones WTF?
Re: Nintendo Download: 17-18 November 2009 (Japan)
Keep this up, and they'll start realizing how we've been feeling since NOA kept giving us 52 VC games a year while they received 416.
Re: Nintendo Download: Bikes, Frogs, Dragons, Bombs, Plankton and Cybernoids (US)
I might actually get Excitebike. It sounds fun.
Re: Nintendo Download: Fights, Shooters, Sparkles, Vikings, Dragons, Carnivals, Escapes and Card Games (US)
What's Cave Story?
Re: Nintendo Download: Zombies, Ghosts, Monkeys, Axes, Royal Bluffs and Even More Sudoku (US)
Two VC games, huh? I'm proud of them. Now, if only they could give us more for Christmas. Please give us SSB so I have something to download with SBCG4AP ep 3.
Re: Nintendo Download: 27-28 October 2009 (Japan)
And NOA's IOU list grows larger.
Super Mario Kart
Kirby Super Star
Super Smash Bros.
Sonic & Knuckles
Re: Nintendo Download: Pinballs, Fights and Gravity (US)
@Stuffgamer: I only did that with F-Zero X, Bomberman '94, and Lost Levels. If I want my fix now, I can always download Baddest of the Bands.
Re: Nintendo Download: Pinballs, Fights and Gravity (US)
I've been reduced to downloading games out of curiosity just so I can get my VC fix. Every week it's the same blah de blah.
Re: Nintendo Download: 13-14 October 2009 (Japan)
@17: Complaints like that annoy me.
Re: Nintendo Download: 13-14 October 2009 (Japan)
Nintendo of America's IOU List:
Earthworm Jim 2
Super Mario Kart
Super Smash Bros.
Kirby Super Star
I guess there isn't a big enough market for VC games here.
Re: Nintendo Download 29-30 September 2009 (Japan)
So, let's see what's on the IOU list for NOA.
Galaxian (VCA)
Super Mario Kart (SNES)
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
Care to add more?
Re: Japanese Virtual Console List - October 2009
I agree that Super Star is the best Kirby game ever made. After being incredibly disappointed with Squeak Squad, I sold it, but after awhile downloaded Kirby 64 as a second try. I liked it, and when I noticed the SNES Kirby was coming to DS, I picked it up and it is far superior to any other Kirby game I've ever played.
Re: Help People Get Their Wii Consoles Online, Get Free Games
Too bad most people on campus don't even play video games.
Re: Nintendo Download: Spaceballs, Shopping Carts, Poker, Street Challenges, Art and Toys (US)
I have an idea: how about reserving SMK for Thanksgiving and SSB for Christmas.
Re: Nintendo Download: Spaceballs, Shopping Carts, Poker, Street Challenges, Art and Toys (US)
Art Academy might convince me to get a DSi. I've always wanted to learn how to draw.
Re: OFLC Ratings Promise Street Fighting Action
More Street Fighter? I always thought it was ridiculous that there were so many variants. Hyper Fighting, Turbo, Championship Edition, The New Challengers. Street Fighter II is Street Fighter II to me. I don't care what version.
Re: First Impressions: Classic Controller Pro
As I've been saying before:
NES: remote
SMS: remote
TG16: remote
SNES: classic controller
Genesis: classic controller
N64: Gamecube controller
I'm good.
Re: First Impressions: Classic Controller Pro
I use the CC only for SNES/Genesis games, so I don't need this. The grips are a plus, but I prefer the nostalgic feel of a flatbottom controller.
Re: Nintendo Download: Rebirths, Colours, Jedi and Clubhouses (US)
@StarBoy: I only need one for the SNES and one for the VC, although I have Sonic Chaos and Sonic the Hedgehog. Hmmm
Re: Nintendo Download: Rebirths, Colours, Jedi and Clubhouses (US)
At least we're getting notable games for once.
Re: Nintendo Download: Rebirths, Colours, Jedi and Clubhouses (US)
Since I already have SSW for SNES and SESB for VC, I won't bother with SROTJ
Re: Nintendo Download: Monkeys, Rattles, Fantasies and Puzzles (US)
@LegendMarioid: If they can just do those games, they'll have completed all the major Nintendo franchises. I'd have to say the easiest would be SMK.
Re: Nintendo Download: Monkeys, Rattles, Fantasies and Puzzles (US)
Now to finish all the rest.
Kirby Super Star (SNES)
Sonic CD (GEN), Sonic & Knuckles (GEN), Sonic Blast (SMS)
Yoshi's Island (SNES)
Donkey Kong 64 (N64), Diddy Kong Racing (N64)
Mega Man 4 (NES), Mega Man 5 (NES), Mega Man 6 (NES), Mega Man 7 (SNES)
Super Mario Kart (SNES)
Super Smash Bros. (N64)
Mario Tennis (N64)
Star Fox (SNES)
Mario Party (N64), Mario Party 2 (N64), Mario Party 3 (N64)
Bomberman (NES), Bomberman II (NES), Super Bomberman (SNES), Bomberman 64 (N64)
