Nintendo doesn't hate money. They just don't have anything right now.

And, apparenty, WiiWare and DSiWare is where the money is.

VIRTUAL CONSOLE
1. spend a lot of money buying the rights to release third party games
2. spend a lot of money emulating the games so they can be released to the download service
3. hope that anyone over the age of twelve actually downloads the game

WIIWARE
1. spend some money to attract publishers to provide simple games for download
2. hope somebody downloads it

DSiWARE
1. spend some money to attract publishers to provide simple games and apps for download
2. hope somebody downloads it

Basically, WW and DSiW are easier to provide.

Yeah, I can't wait til I get this. Once I do, I'll have a good eighteen days to play it before I have to fly to Texas to visit relatives and see New Orleans (I live in Texas). Will be there for just under two weeks.

@Kevin: Why would they cancel the VC? It makes them money, and they already have many good games. Just because they aren't releasing VC games regularly doesn't mean it's gone. It just means they've run out of games to squeeze in. Shut up and download Yoshi's Story.

The reviewers believed this to feel more like SMW because of Yoshi. Really, this is even more like SMB3 because of the inventory window. Critics only play the first few levels.

Kids these days wouldn't even touch a Wii, because all they care about is playing M games with the latest graphics and no censorship. {sigh}

However, I'm a victim of WiiWare before VC. I downloaded Excite Bike World Rally because the original didn't look all that appealing. I've found it fun, and don't think I'd like the original as much.
