I'll be playing some more Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon as well as Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance this weekend.

NIce one Phil, I was cracking up reading some of those posts. It's even funnier when you know hoe good he actually is at Mega Man.

I'm really looking forward to this title so I was a little disappointed that we didn't get to see it during E3. Seeing how packed this year is, it's not that bad a thing though.

This is the point i've been trying to convey amidst all the disappointed people. The games Nintendo revealed may be safe, and there weren't a lot of surprises, but they'll sell well. As much as people wanted a sanbox style Mario game, 3D World will probably sell better overall and it should provide a nice push during the holiday season.

I don't think David Wise composed all of third game's soundtrack, I believe it was done by Eveline Fisher with some help from David. He did redo the soundtrack for the GBA port of DKC3 though.

Get ready for Kiddy Kong in HD people!

I really love that logo with the Triforce. Can't wait to play the game!

Man, I don't care what other people say, I'm super excited for this game! Sure, it would have been nice if Retro worked on something new, but I can't complain about more DK.

Woah! It's releasing way sooner than I had expected. I'll definitely be giving this one a spin seeing how great the first game was.

I don' have the means or the time to own more than one console. I'm still buying Gameube, Wii and DS games that I missed out on so I'm set as far as games go.

Sweet, I'll be downloading it as soon as it comes out. Now we need a release date for Shantae and the Pirate's Curse.

Well the Wii U VC offerings are somewhat disappointing after seeing what Europe got, but I'll never complain about more Mega Man.

I've been considering the RetroN5 when it comes out, but I'll be keeping an eye on this now as well.

I've been having pretty bad allergies the past few days, and when lying around in bed, I found myself playing my 3DS much more often than my iPod Touch or iPhone. There are some good games on mobile devices, but it will never be a substitute for a real gaming console for me.

Animal Crossing is considered violent how? Maybe they're going to try banning fishing next.

Considering Metroid Prime 3 left room for a sequel in its ending, I wouldn't be surprised if it was the next entry in the Prime series.

I'll be downloading Super Mario World as soon as I am able. That, F-Zero, and Super Metroid are the only decent games confirmed as of now.

I'm actually really excited for this console! There's a store near me that sells NES, SNES, and Genesis games so I can't wait for the release.

I might pick it up because it's one of my favorite 2D platformers of all time. The new stages look pretty neat, and I'm sure the 3D effect will be amazing.

Yoshi's Story is a much different game than the Yoshi's Island series. I haven't played Yoshi's Story myself, but I understand the goal is to collect frit while Yoshi'd Island takes a more traditional platforming route, albiet with loads of creativity.

Maybe now people will see that Pixar isn't the god of animated films like they always claim.

I've calmed down quite a lot since this whole incident started, but I could never be angry at the development team in the first place. It's nice that they're taking the time to give us Wii U owners some extra content since the game is pretty much finished anyway.

I think Nintendo is right in saying that people need to give the Wii U time. With the Wii you could see the potential right away with it's motion controls, but the Wii U is a bit more complex. I think we'll start to see some really creative stuff but it's going to take a while.

The Wii U is just raking in these indie games. I'm pretty excited for a lot of these titles.

I can't say how I felt about the game back when it came out, but from a modern perspective I just don't think the game is that fun to play. If is one of the most influential games out there for sure, but I'm just saying I don't see the appeal. This is coming from someone who legitimately likes Zelda II so i'ts not like I hate Retro games either.

People still like the original Legend of Zelda? It's aged horribly in my opinion, I much prefer the second game but each to their own.

Very good article. I agree with many of the points you made. Developers need to start making some of these multiplatform games come to the Wii U. Apparently that takes a certain amount of effort so they just give us old ports instead.

This is in my top 5 games of all time so i'll definitely be picking it up. Kinda disappointed that it's not a brand new game, but i'll enjoy it nonetheless.

This is pretty great. It shows that the developers are just as upset over the stupid decision and really want to see the fruit of their labor be released.
I highly doubt anything will come of it though.

I just finished Batman Arkham City this week and moved on to Luigi's Mansion like Jon. I'll also been playing the GBA Fire Emblem and wrapping up the final case in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

Great review Corbs. I really enjoyed playing through Metal Slug 4 both solo, and with a friend. You can play as a monkey with Uzi's? Yep, the game is just that awesome.

Why the hell do we have to wait to play Rayman Legends when it's obviously almost finished? The game was going to be released in less than 20 days but they delay it so its released at the same time as the other consoles. Other publishers haven't been delaying their games because the Wii U version isn't ready. Screw Ubisoft.

I'll be getting Fire Emblem from retail this Monday. I might also check out Puddle sometime or the other.

If you're going to have a discount, at least make it worthwhile.

This game has me hyped so much. It looks like it could be a cross between Xenoblade and Xenogears. After the success of Xenoblade on the Wii, I find it hard to imagine that they would abandon that series completely though.

Probably just info for some of the upcoming games. I won't expect any new games to be announced, but I have plenty of stuff to be excited for already.

I'm loving all these developers bringing their games to the Wii U! It's great to hear how optimistic they are about the eShop and I hope these devs continue to support it.
