The kirby series, more than any other, has more experimentation from game to game. So you never know what you are going to get. There is however amazing care taken by HAL with every one of them. So you pretty much can guarantee you are going to get something special with each Kirby release.

The gamecube was the first home console that I purchased new, but I didn't get Luigi's Mansion until much later when a local store was liquidating it's gamecube stock. I was pleasantly surprised at how different it was to any other game, let alone any other nintendo game.

It is a shame though that you didn't have some mention of what the site is, or have something like "Visit us at nintendolife.com" to show it is a website for people not in the know.

on the subject of B&W Vs. Colour, I finally got the Metroid II cart and have been playing it on my GBASP. When comparing it to the emulator rom in b&w it became apparent that the colour enhancement adds a lot to the look of the game. I hope when they bring Metroid II to the VC that they do what they did with Links Awakening (which was not a proper gameboy colour game, but was presented in it's gameboy colour format).

hopefully metal mario comes to 3D Land as well

I liked the gamecube single player, so if it plays like that it will be awesome. You could control what formation the four links were in, or control them individually one by one. It didn't even occur to me to use my XL and 3DS for multiplayer. looks like multiplayer will be possible for me after all.

the 3ds' controls aren't as responsive as the nes or classic controller's, so that doesn't help me this time around. I am having a lot more problems with the ambassador versions

It is fine when it is on a home console, but on a handheld it is useless

I loved the multiplayer of Assault. The flow of ground to vehicle and back again was so manic and fun.

@Link79 I loved adventures but never finished it. That game had a fluctuating difficulty level.

Wireless multiplayer is in no way a new feature. They are just using the original local multiplayer and keeping it local. Oh they added faces, woo hoo.

Hey Australians, what is the model number on your 3DS's? (it is in theory before MADE IN CHINA)

Mine is CTR-001(EUR). I think that means that even though they were distributed by Nintendo of Australia, they are actually European (and hopefully that is why it doesn't work).

EDIT: Before you ask: I purchased my 3DS at launch and accessed the Eshop the moment it went live.

I have never had my wii vertically (in fact I have no idea where the stand is) so my wii is designed to be used horizontally anyway. So what would this offer me? Oh that's right; less.

Nintendo should have a demo station in every store that sells it so you can try before you buy. They should change their advertising campaign to one that shows how different the 3DS is from the DS even though it looks the same. Also the ad should point out that there is demo station in every store that sells it so you can see for yourself.
